DESCRIPTION

Garry's NeckFx App, Garry's and Maiven's Chaser Cam App and Garry's App Hub V0.11 can all be downloaded together at the bottom of this post.

If you want to download the apps separately, you can do so in my Discord which you can access by clicking the button below

All three apps got the same update so they're together in one post rather than three. The changes are mostly around the app window itself, a rebuilt preset manager in the two camera apps, and a new design direction I'm taking for all the apps.

The Window

None of the apps sit in a standard grey square app window any more. Each one draws its own accent tinted rounded window with a strip along the top holding the app icon, the name, a settings gear, a minimise button and a close button, and in the two camera apps an Enable/Disable toggle as well. You drag the app to move it and grab any of the four edges to resize it like you do for normal apps.

The Enabled toggle used to only live in the app hub app settings windows, and it completely disables the apps so if you don't want them running you don't have to uninstall them.

Minimise to an icon

Minimising folds the window down into a small icon you can drag anywhere on screen and leave there. Hover it and two prompts come out of it, double click to close the app and right click to open it back up, and it stays where you put it. If you have a few of the apps minimised and the icons overlap, only the top one reacts now, so dragging one doesn't drag the whole pile.

Settings Gear

The gear in any of my apps now opens the Hub settings page for that app directly, so you don't have to open the Hub and find the app yourself. While a page is open the gear in that app lights up in its own accent colour and tells you to right click to get out again. The Hub has its own settings page now too, with Restart and Open Folder and the notification toggles for updates, warnings and info.

Every settings page also has a new Messages card that collects everything that app's status card is carrying, any error it's showing, any update it's been told about, and any community warnings or info messages.

Preset manager

The preset area in the Settings tab has been rebuilt in all of my apps. Its mostly a style change but it does have some improvements to usability, like with destructive actions which now give you options like Delete, Overwrite, Save as copy or Cancel instead of doing the action straight away.

Per-Car Presets (NeckFx and Chaser Cam Apps)

This feature already existed in both apps but it was never something you could toggle. What it does is it makes each car remember the preset you last used on it and loads it back when you swap cars, so you don't have to reload your preset every time you change car. Turning it on applies the remembered preset for the car you're in straight away.

How do I install?

The apps folder from the zip must be installed manually to the Assetto Corsa root folder. Watch the videos below if you don't know where your root folder is or how to install.
