Alright guys. I been radio silent over here because I really thought I had a shot at finishing by christmas if I soaked up my office hours (and evenings) for E2 but looking at what's left, and how much time I gave myself, I come to you with hat in hand to say that this cartoon will not be completed by year's end. I see myself cutting far too many corners on this one to make the deadline, and while that was fine for something like that 2d/3d animation, or really any other non canon episode of Madness, this here is a canon entry and these days I feel like I have to make sure the sauce of it is just so, and to get it there, I'm going to need more time.
The cartoon stands at just over 5 minutes long, without credits. With more time I can make the opening scene far more... contextualized? (I know that sounds insane for a mc toon but trust it'll be kinda important), I can elaborate on the ending -just enough-, and I can give more time and attention to incidental/snoopables instead of sweating and missing a myriad of opportunities to get this right.
This stings, but releasing something that could've been just a bit better would sting more. Thank you for readin.
