I had some fun thinking of Sins stories that wouldn’t follow the established format of Host and Sin pairings. Something that would take place fully rooted in the Sins world, but maybe not even involving the Sins (egads!).
What we have is a slice of life story that takes place after the end of Manitou and the establishment of the human-demon realm diplomat problem that Toli and Lust were gunning for.
Our cast:
Our main human comes across as stereotypical cartoonishly feminine housewife. She is all about house dresses, baking, being cute, and looking after her community. It’s established that she made money in the past and lives very well by herself without a day job.
Our main demon is a succubus that works for the now well-established Agency diplomatic team. She’s dating the main human and spends her time moving back and forth between the demon realm and human realm.
The two are passionately in love. The human is the more affectionate one, doting on her girlfriend, but there are no comedic mismatches between the two. Our demon loves her human gal.
The human's dog. Normal dog. Sadly not demonic.
At the start of the story, the Human is nervous and flustered and dressed up. The Demon is bringing her twin spawns to meet Human. Human desperately wants them to like her and we get light sitcom (demonic sitcom, sitcomonic... sincom...) vibes.
The Spawn are also part of the diplomatic program and are to be raised in the human realm. Like all demons, they're much stronger than even grown humans and the twins have minor powers still developing. They lack human social understandings and would much rather play the role of conquering demons, but their mom thinks spending time as a family will help that.
The kids are very direct in their first meeting. They ask if Human is sleeping with their mom and Human gets very flustered and stammers out that they share a bed and cuddle (obviously more but she isn't saying). The twins say that's a coward’s answer and their mom is hot and desirable and this human should be proud they spend time together.
Despite the rocky start, the Spawn are immediately won over by Human's dog. The kids spent all week researching dogs once they heard the human has one and offer it treats and pledge service to it. The dog loves it and is a big ham for attention.
