After finishing the food, the man continues to take stock of the manor. It’s kept to perfection in its pre-downfall state. Outside of a few spots where degradation has been patched and the colors don’t match the original plastanium structure, you’d never know the world outside was a wasteland while living here.
With his survey completed, the robot returns and announces that the meal is ready. The man politely declines and says he’s quite full from the one he just ate. The robot uses its bulk to push the man back to the dining area and says that the Madame’s vital signs are still far too weak compared to her last reading, but it can still serve even if she isn’t hungry. Mixing new ingredients into the bowl, the food becomes a liquid and in series of skilled and almost instant movements, the robot inserts a device into the man’s mouth. Propping his mouth open and wrapping around his lips, the device makes it so the man can’t help but chug the mixture the robot pours in. Happy at these actions to regain her health, the robot says it will prepare more meals and soon returns with multiple bowls of the supplement. Now groggy and exhausted, the man is shuffled off to rest. He sinks into the plush bed ready for him and quickly falls asleep.
The next day, the man has put on some weight so the robot seems pleased. As a wasteland scavenger, the man HAS been malnourished most of his life so he does feel more healthy, but it seems odd that he’s mostly filling out in the chest, thighs, and backside. The day is spent preparing the bunker for the return of his friends and skimming through what books and information he can find around the space. Interrupted by constant meal breaks from the robot, the man wills himself to eat the food normally rather than being subjected to another force-feeding. By the end of the next day, the man sports an hourglass figure that pleases the robot as the start of the Madame’s road to a healthy recovery. But there’s still work to be done.
