DESCRIPTION

Our game idea today is masterful corporate synergy:

View-Masters of the Universe!

Who owned the View-Master? Mattel!

Who owned He-Man toys? Mattel!

Sure, we can make this work with unbranded stereoscopes, but don’t miss out on this synergy. (contact me, Mattel, and we can work something out!)

Your character is granted a mystically powerful stereoscope. When you put it on and look at the included slide, it shows you the future and impending disaster. Your mission is to identify what’s happening in the world, where it’s happening, and who/what is needed to prevent this danger.

The game starts off in just your room identifying something simple to find that will go wrong (burned out socket, broken lamp, etc). From there, we keep expanding out to larger spaces and bigger accidents. From your room>floor>house>neighborhood>town>state>country> to the world itself!

You’re given the snapshot of a person, place, or thing related to a disaster that will strike and a countdown to how long until it happens. You might be shown exactly where this bad thing will happen and you need to figure out what’s needed to get there and deal with it. You might just be shown a villain heading somewhere. Or you might be shown things leading to the disaster but not knowing what the disaster itself is. In larger levels, you're given clues as you explore (heroes may be heading in a direction, the power plant is glowing, things heading away from the disaster, or just the outcome of it, etc).

Once you’ve figured it out, you contact your agent within the castle, say a court magician or a prince with a secret alter-ego, and notify them of what’s going to happen, where it will happen, what villain they need to prepare for, and what relief the area will need. If your deductions are on point, the heroes will prevent/clean up the area before much damage is done, stop the villain, save the day, and you move on to the next slide in your stereoscope.

And just think, if we really want to put a budget behind this, we go full VR and you have a 360-degree View-Master representation of the scene. Like I said, Mattel, reach out to me.
