The robber in the green bouffant starts to untie the negotiator’s arms from the chair. He lurches forward but she fearlessly shoves him back and tosses her detonator to her partner in pink. Nuh uh uh. Be bad and the bombs on the hostages go off. She undoes the binds on his legs and then stands him up and strips him of his uniform. Pink tosses him a bodice with a cartoonishly extreme hourglass shape and thick fuzz lining the chest and bottom. He glares at it and lets out a Huh muffled by the plastic lips over his mouth. Green rolls her eyes and tells him to put it on, stupid. He relents and Green helps zip him up before handing over gloves and stockings with more fuzz. Pink sprays two more puff balls from her bag and rolls the now beach ball-sized puffs over to him and he understands why the bodice had so much room. By the time Green finishes stuffing the puffs into his bodice, Pink rolls over another two. Green grins and tells him to turn around. With the puffs attached, the negotiator is a constant wobble of motion. The slightest movement sends his giant wig, chest, or behind bobbling about. The robbers are quite pleased with themselves, before Pink empties out her backpack and more gear bounces onto the bank floor.
By the time dress-up is done, the negotiator is wearing an enormous fluffy gown. Shoulder poofs blocking his vision to the side, a fuzzy choker tight but soft around his neck, the top holds his giant fake chest together but is padded itself even more, and a huge puffed out gown bounces and twirls with each step he takes in the heeled boots.
The duo giggle in delight, bouncing and slapping his gown causing it to wobble all over. She finally stops and waves her partner off to do the same, and then waves again when Pink says she can’t help slapping it. The Bandits have made their point and gotten their revenge for their betrayed sister. Pink starts packing up and Green holds the detonator. She tells the negotiator that if he runs down a specific street, he'll find the deactivation code for the bomb they planted taped behind a newspaper machine. Oh, it’s about two miles away so they’ll have plenty of time to escape, but he gets to be a hero and save all the hostages. Seems like a fair trade, eh?
The pair motion to the back door and the negotiator bolts. Struggling to run in the heeled boots and weighed down by the enormous gown, he barely makes it three blocks before a figure leaps out from behind a car and tries to tackle him. The man collides with the negotiator’s inflated curves and bounces right off. Our lead barely has a chance to stand up straight when a dozen more police tackle him and pin him to the ground, his face shoved into his own fluffed up dress. As they keep him pinned down, the negotiator hears one of the officers call in that they’ve caught one of the Bandits and mentions the tip called in by a civilian in a building across from the bank was spot on. One of the Bandits was seen eyeing an escape route and here she is. The negotiator’s eyes go wide as he realizes that the Bandits planned this and put in the call themselves to set him up.
When the cops finally pry off the plastic lips muffling his voice, the negotiator screams out his badge number and identification phrase. The officers holding him look around in shock. He shouts that there’s a bomb with the hostages and they need to send the squad in! There’s a flurry of action and calls to get the bomb squad into the bank and our negotiator looks up to see the news choppers filming above them. He’s thankful for once for all the makeup to conceal his identity. He grumbles for the officers to let him go and get him out of the open. They pull around a cruiser, but his enormous gown just bounces him off the side and he can’t pry himself through the door. He holds his head in shame as the car leaves and a police van pulls up for him a few minutes later.
