Very Important Studio Changes!

DESCRIPTION

It's time to make some fundamental changes in the studio. And when I say fundamental, I mean that I'm going to throw a lot of things overboard and completely rebuild.

First and foremost, from now on new supporters will be asked to pay on the day they join, not on the first of each month as before. Everyone will see why this makes sense in the following.

So what am I getting into here again? It's simple, I feel like I don't have the time to build the scenes I really want to bring out. So I need to change something - so I have the time to get the scenes out that I want to get out, right?

Let's face it, I've now built (no joke) over 200 medium and large scenes, that's not even including the “Quick & Dirty” series. So let it be about 240 - 250? Never mind. I'm running from month to month to fulfill my "should" in order to keep the content flowing and I'm working my ass off to do it. In doing so, I leave a lot of potential lying around because I have to fulfill this "target" of putting out a certain number of scenes each month.

So I caught myself putting my own standards as an artist on the back burner just to fulfill the “should” - fatal.

I'm always honest with you and honest with myself. I definitely won't be able to keep up the number of scenes per month if I even try to make the scenes more challenging. But does the number really matter? After years I can honestly tell - no. There are artists here and there with a much higher number of supporters who release far fewer per month.

Why did you like scenes like "Spacelust", "Club Gentleman 1 + 2" and "The Sinful" so much? Because I simply had more time and my creative streak was active. I feel like a ghost of myself right now, working on the assembly line. And I'm sick of it. I want scenes with passion, with "progress" with "plot-twist", detailed plugin and animation work, fitting expressions and tension. I just want every scene I put out to be the fucking best you've ever seen. For me, for you and for Virt a Mate ( at least in my pov :P ).

But what it takes is time. - Time, a lot of experimenting, a lot of learning and above all "no pressure!". I don't want any more "quick & dirty" - nothing "soulless". Lets pull down the pants now! So for the paper and so that the changes are written down in a structured way, it means the following:

Changes that are effective immediately

  • Supporters will be asked to pay on the day they join

Changes effective from the first of July (this month remains like usual!)

  • The "Quick&Dirty" series will be abolished ( I know some will hate this - but its for the good, promise! :* )

  • There will be no fixed monthly number of releases!

  • The subbrands "STRIPPED" and "STUDIO" will remain for the sake of clarity

  • Regardless of the subbrand, far more time will be allowed for individual scenes.

  • A scene is finished when it's finished and not because the clock is ticking!

Since starting from next month I can NOT guarantee anymore that for example a Mystery Box is ready by the end of the month it makes sense to charge supporters on their join date. Besides of that it makes more sense anyway. You like a specific release? Join, grab it ;) No need for any "tactical" join date anymore.

Conclusion

Okay, now that that's roughly clarified, maybe one or the other is wondering what exactly I have in mind? Basically, it's about making the scenes more “expansive” and technically demanding. A good erotic scene is much more than just opening it up and having all the poses at your disposal. In addition to a sophisticated design (environment, lighting, setting), a good scene must also have a certain tension curve. The key to all our scenes being very well received was always that there was more than just “eroticism” to discover. Spacelust took you to dozens of “worlds” - there was even a whole “warp” mechanic. In Club Gentleman, you could decide when the model came to you from the podium, teased you and took you to the VIP room. In “The Sinful” you were at the mercy of a femme fatale and had to give up control completely. All scenes that were technically more demanding, created tension and kept you on the edge of your seat. That's what I want for ALL the scenes I'm putting out for you. Not every scene will have some kind of special plot twist, but every scene should be of exceptional quality, whether it's great storytelling, or excessive erotic animations, it should just be good, feel good and make you want to play it at least 20 times. That is my aspiration as an artist.

I have also neglected many other things recently. There is now a wealth of plugins that make VaM more beautiful. I have started to discover and experiment with some of them in the last few weeks.

I also need and want to improve my technical skills. Timeline for example is and remains a powerful tool whose potential I only use to a limited extent in previous scenes. Here, too, I have some catching up to do.

All in all, I'm very positive. It's very important for me personally to take this step now. I don't know where it will lead. I just hope that you will continue to support C&G - especially now more than at any other time. I will need time and a lot to learn. Please don't expect a 180 degree turnaround with the first releases in July, I'm only human, right :P

Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful day

*Remember this months releases are in the old manner, the first of July marks the date where these changes take slowly effect since current realeses are in a late WIP stage already!

For the TLDR guys:

- Members will be charged on join date (effective now!)

Start July 2025

- Ramping up quality -> reducing quantity
- Quick & Dirty series discontinued
- No fixed monthly release number. Its ready when ready.
