Hey folks,
I've been promising a scene-by-scene completion status recently, so here it is:
Scene completion status
Excluding some transition scenes, minor alternate scenes / branching, etc., I have separated the game into approx. 25 scenes. Obviously, depending on choices, preferences, etc. you will not get to play every scene in a single playthrough.
The status is below, but please note the following... Other than the last two on the list: "In progress" means that we have made significant progress, so none of these are starting from scratch.
The estimated due date are "estimates" and the sequence of completion is not set in stone: e.g. depending on animations, or priorities, I could end up closing two scenes in one week and none the following week (or vice versa) or I could end up working (and closing) a scene with a later estimated date, ahead of one with an earlier date. But in essence, to hit the end of November estimated release date, I need to close off at least one scene (and in some weeks, two scenes) every week between now and end of November.
This week I closed off the Katie & Natasha scenes, and tomorrow I'll close of the Bella /Jo duo scene. It is marked as complete, because I know I will get it done tomorrow.
Every single character below will appear in at LEAST TWO scenes, and all characters will have at least one sex scene, with the vast majority of them having more than one sex scene....
The render count (and animation count) is through the roof, and although I'm not using it to track progress anymore, the line count is huge too (currently at 34,300 lines).
Here's how we're looking:
Scene 1: Jenna solo at home - Fully complete & tested
Scene 2: Jenna and Katie at home - Fully complete & tested
Scene 2a: Katie solo at home - Fully complete & tested
Scene 3: Short phone call with Debbie - Fully complete & tested
Scene 4: Short phone call with Lily - Fully complete & tested
Scene 5: Bella scene - Fully complete & tested
Scene 6: Jolina scene. -Fully complete & tested
Scene 7: Elaine scene - Fully complete & tested
Scene 8: Zarah scene - Fully complete & tested
Scene 9: Monica scene- Fully complete & tested
Scene 10: Jenna scene. Fully complete & tested
Scene 11: Lily scene - Fully complete & tested
Scene 12: Debbie scene - In progress. Estimate completion: 1 November
Scene 13: Katie scene - Fully complete, not tested
Scene 14: Short scene with Natasha - Fully complete, not tested
Scene 15: Will / inheritance resolution scene - Fully complete & tested
Scene 16: Bella (solo, after the will scene). Fully complete, not tested
Scene 17: Jolina (solo, after the will scene) Fully complete, not tested
Scene 18: Bella & Jolina (duo, after the will scene). Fully complete, not tested
Scene 19: Game night: In progress - Estimate completion 8th November
Scene 20: Wanda scene - In progress - Estimate completion: 15th November
Scene 21: Angel scene - In progress - Estimate completion: 15th November
Scene 22: (After a small time jump) Group scene 1 In progress - 25th October
Scene 23: (After a small time jump) Group scene 2 In progress. (different women from group 1). In progress - Estimate completion: 1 November
Scenes 24: (After another small time jump) Closer scenes (very, very small scene per girl). Obviously, I will NOT be able to fit in a MAJOR wedding scene for every potential marriable female, as that would require another two episodes, so these will be very small scenes for each character for closure. In progress (barely) - Estimate completion 22nd November
Scene 25 Final testing, plus two small closers / epilogues. (After another time jump). Not started. Estimate completion. 29th November
I plan to get another huge block of the game over to my QC testers in the next two weeks, so a lot of testing will happen in parallel to the completion dates above.
This scene completion status will be published in every dev update going forward to keep everyone informed as to how we're doing, so we'll all know if things are going swimmingly or if the shit has hit the fan. It's gonna be tight (as always), but still do-able.
Also... There will not be any 4K renders this month or next month as all of my focus will be on episode 25, but I'll make up for it in December with plenty.
There is probably enough info above for you to mull over, and ask any questions, so other than some teasers below, I'll close out this dev upate and get back to work...
