Season 2 update:
Just a quick check-in to let you know how things are going. All of mine and Cell's time over the past week have been spent on Season 2 and it's shaping up nicely. In addition to the full art make-over in progress, there have been a LOT of script edits / tweaks and additions whereby the original script and the Season 2 script (so far) are significantly different. As per Season 1, the biggest additions / tweaks will be made earlier in the Season, so things will speed up the further into Season 2 I get as the quality of the original continued to improve, but overall, I'm happy with progress.
I'm also going to add a "Summary" feature for season 2, whereby you can check exactly what the status of your current save is (i.e. relationships with each girl, plus a summary of key decisions made), so that will make it easier for you to know where you stand once you load a saved game. And obviously, I'll be adding a feature so you can import Season 1 saves into Season 2 for a seamless transition.
And lastly, if you go a few days (in-game time) without a scene with a specific girl (i.e. if there are lots of scenes with other girls and it's been a while before you got to spend time with a specific girl), I have a couple of ideas I'm working on to try to alleviate this, i.e. an in-game way to do check-ins on some girls in between major scenes. I hope that makes sense to you? It's still in the idea phase, so not sure how it will pan out, but I'll keep you posted.
I am aiming for a Summer release for Season 2, but will keep you updated and in the meantime, I will also be releasing those other items I mentioned previously: Finishing the original game written walkthrough, a tiny alternate ending, an in-game walkthrough for Season 1, plus our first epilogue (Heaven and Elizabeth), so at least you will see some releases. Never again will there be a 11 / 12 month period with zero releases. My hope is that my days of single, MASSIVE releases with yearly wait times are over. Let's see how it goes, but that's the plan
