Last weeks poll
Thanks a lot for the feedback on the last poll, regarding whether or not some of the later Season 2 episodes need a full art re-do. Remember, almost ALL scenes will end up getting a full re-do. The poll was only in relation to some of the scenes where the original art was already prettty decent.
The results are as follows: 41% said they were good enough, 52% said minor tweaks needed and 8% said "not good enough / re-do them all", so I'm going to bear this in mind and
Will end up at least "tweaking" ANY that I'm on the fence about.
Once we start tweaking, we will end up re-doing a LOT. I know full re-do scored low on the poll, but tweaks scored high. So if we are already going to the trouble of tweaking (and then re-rendering everything), in a LOT of cases, it won't be much extra work to just re-do. Tweaking and re-rendering is almost the same hassle as re-doing.
Any time saved by tweaking, rather than re-doing will be put into adding extra images (with extra focus on the lewd scenes), especially where we skimped on the image quantity in the original game. We want quantity AND quality in Season 2.
Consistency is key. So regardless of what we do, we cannot have any scenes where there is a noticeable difference in quality compared to others and especially not mid-scene.
This weeks poll
Yes, there will be another poll this week. 😊. Patrons seem to be a lot more responsive in giving feedback via polls, rather than comments, so I'm going to continue to use polls to keep my finger on the pulse regarding what you folks want. Although I really, really appreciate those folks who also use the comment sections for additional feedback as these comments provide a lot more details than just a poll response. So for any of the folks who comment, please continue to do so. For any that don't... please feel free to get your voice heard in the comments. This week's poll (at the end of the post) is regarding the priority of the epilogue that we're currently working on, so pleas read the details at the end and let me know.
Season 2 progress
We had a really good week on Season 2 this week. For each completed scene, we still need to add music and sfx and animations, but we got word back from our animator that he is going to complete a large batch of animations over the next couple of weeks. And the plan for music and sfx is to add those in at the end. So by early May, we should have a decent chunk of Season 1 playable, so I'll chat with you folks then and we can decided if you want me to release something for you to look at (It won't be a beta, but it will be more than a demo)... but we can afigre all that out closer to the time.
We still have a shitload to do, but based on this week as we progress further into the script, there are definitely less re-writes than in ealrier episodes, so I'm happy that things are picking up speed.
This week, I worked on upgrading the Elaine wet t-shirt scene. I remember this scene being an absolute nightmare in the original (trying to deal with wet effects) and it took me weeks. I was dreading doing it for the re-do (And Cell refused to do it because of the impending nightmare 😊), but so far, I'm really enjoying it and it's going a lot smoother than the original (and hopefully looking better too, but I'll let you folks be the judge of that). Here are some samples... These images are hot of the press, so I haven't fully checked for quality issues, so let me know if you spot anything. I kept the original environment as it's Elaine's house and I didn't want to give her a completely nerw house for the re-do. So the environment looks a little dated (not much I can do about that without giving her a new house), but the more important thing is the lady, the lighting and how she looks. (More teasers available for $5+ patrons)
By the way... If you want me to continue to show the opriginal images (to compare) along with the re-do teasers, please let me know. Or if you'd rather I just show the new images and forget about the old, please let me know either way... in the comments.

which looks a LOT different from the original (different room, different outfit) but we'll keep those teasers for next time.

Although our primary focus is on Season 2, we are also doing some work on an epilogue scene: The one with Elizabeth and Heaven (Angel and Wanda's mothers). At the moment Centurion has been working away on the artwork while Cell and I work on Season 2. It's currently paused at the moment as Cent has some personal stuff to attend to (I won't go into details as it's his business, not mine), but he will be returning shortly. So my question is... When Cent returns, would you like Cella nd I jump onto this epilogue with Centand just blitz it for a couple of weeks to get it released so you have something new to play?
Or would you prefer the current situation where it is progressing at a leisurely pace while I concentrate on Season 2? I'm happy to take direction from you folks.
