Reaver Lore
1 / 8
DESCRIPTION

Reavers are brutish creatures created by the original Sin of Wrath through fearsome rite of sorcery and alchemy. Reavers are creatures that do not reproduce sexually, in fact they lack sexual organs, and can only be created and spawned through a specific ritual imbued solely with the power of the Sin of Wrath. As such, they are utterly bound and fully loyal to the current Sin of Wrath. Reavers lack any sort of culture and language, instead they operate on a caste-based hive mind system and communicate with one another telepathically. Though the higher the rank, the more intelligent they become, and a greater sense of self they possess. But, ultimately, no Reaver is capable of thinking beyond serving the Crown Prince of Wrath.

Reaver existence is bound around the number 13.

For every 13 Reavers, the 14th will emerge as a High Reaver.

For every 13 High Reavers, the 14th will emerge as a Reaver Knight.

For every 13 Reaver Knights, the 14th will emerge as a Reaver Lord.

For every 13 Reaver Lords, the 14th will emerge as a Reaver Titan.

For every 13 Reaver Titans, the 14th will emerge as a Reaver Imperator.

For every 13 Reaver Imperators, there is one Sin of Wrath.

At their height, the Reavers have a maximum population of 4,826,809.

The common Reaver is a massive creature standing on average over seven feet tall and weighing close to a ton. has limited intelligence but immense raw physical strength and durability. They patrol the lands of Infernity with zeal and are not known for asking question or clarification, simply skipping straight to killing and devouring their foes. Their favored food is goblin.

High Reavers are virtually identical to the common Reaver but are larger, usually standing at about 8 feet, and posses a wicked cunning that allows them to lead their lessers. They can usually be seen leading a pack a Reavers through the wilds of Infernity, keeping powerful monster populations under control.

Reaver Knights are starkly different that their lower ranked counterparts not just in appearence, but size as well - they stand at around six feet in height. Due to their complete lack of facial features they rely purely on their psychic talents to observe and map the world around them. However, Reaver Knights do have mouths: their chests and abdomen cavities open up to reveal a gaping maw filled with rows of pointed teeth and a long whip-like tongue they can use to grab onto prey.

Knights are incredibly intelligent predators and are capable of complex thoughts and formulating plans. They are also capable of casting rudimentary magics such as elemental spells and telekinesis and it is also not unusual to see a Knight wielding weapons as well. A single Knight can prove to be an immense challenge to even the most veteran of Mid-rank Devils.

Reaver Lords are smiliar looking to Knights, but with the added addition of rotted, skeletal wings, curved horns and a bone like tail. Naturalists of the Underworld often note that the Lords appear to be the aborted chrysalis of what the Reaver Knight would have naturally evolved into.

They are immensely powerful creatures well into the ranks of High-class Devils, and can weild a wide variety of powerful, offensive magic. But not just in the arcane arts, Reaver Lords have monstrous physical abilities as well. A single Reaver Lord has been witnessed killing hundreds of goblins in the span of a second with its bare hands.

Reaver Lords can often be found standing motionless at the highest point of cities and villages, using their powerful psychic abilities to monitor denizens and control and direct lesser Reavers. Reaver Lords are taller than even High Reavers and cut a very imposing sight.

The gargantuan Reaver Titans stand well over 30 feet tall and possess an enormous power just on the cusp of Ultimate-class. However, they are creatures filled with rage and hatred, and as such, they do not make for effective commanders and leaders. Their role under the Crown Prince of Wrath is to devastate and destroy entire battlefields at their liege's will. Titans roam the skies of Infernity, caring little for the ongoings of the creatures below unless specifically alerted to a significant threat by watchful Reaver Lords. In which case they will swoop down from the skies and unleash their tremendous powers on whatever poor fools have disturbed the peace within Infernity.

(Imperator Ecayd)

(Imperator Furia)

(Imperator Ruel)

(Imperator Nihil)

Imperator's are the final line of the Reavers. They are of the same size as the common Reaver but drastically different in appearence, being covered in plate-like armored hide and weilding powers firmly within the Ultimate-class. They are the only ranks within the Reavers that are deemed worthy of being granted names.

Imperators remain stationed within the Fortress of Iravex, waiting for assignments handed out personally by the Lord Wrath. They care nothing at all for their lessers and readily ignore them, content in allowing the Reaver Lords to manage and order around the bulk of their species. All four current Imperators are veterans and survivors of the Great War, and are immensely hated by the Angels and Fallen for the carnage and violence they unleashed under the banner of the Original Satan.
