A few days before their first kiss, Nick and Charlie have a lot on their minds...
I had this idea a couple of weeks ago and thought it'd be a good concept to ease myself back into full colour illustration! It's something I want to improve at but finding brushes I like is difficult, and I don't have a lot of patience either. I want to push myself to try new things but I usually find myself falling back on styles I've used before.
I've also been finding myself wanting to return to the world of Heartstopper Volume 1... Charlie getting all of his feelings out in his journal, while Nick's more of a visual thinker...
I have lots of ideas in my brain for new colour illustrations... I hope I can stay motivated/inspired! It often makes me sad how little time/energy I've had to create illustrations outside of the comic over the past couple of years :(
