You ever notice how every bad decision in mythology somehow gets blamed on “mysterious forces”?
Yeah… I think we may have found the real culprit.
This one started with the idea of the classic sirens-on-the-rocks setup — but instead of hypnotic, otherworldly music being the problem, it’s… well… everything else going on.
I had a lot of fun staging this shot — the height of the wrecked ship, the body language of the sailors trying (and failing) to stay focused, and of course the sirens themselves, each with their own look and attitude.
