There was a time — before everything was one click away — when stumbling across a certain magazine column felt like finding a forbidden transmission from another dimension.
You’d flip through the pages, find the Forum section, and suddenly you were reading some breathless first-person account that always began with a disclaimer like, “I never thought this could happen to me…” And then, somehow, despite all reasonable probability, it absolutely did.
This illustration is my Evil Inc After Dark riff on that exact energy — except instead of a bored suburban couple, we’ve got Desi, Iron Dragon, and a demon who may or may not have understood the difference between “guest star” and “recurring character.”
Desi has sent a few very persuasive texts. Iron Dragon has come home early. And the living room is already telling a story before anyone says a word.
This is the opening page of a little “Dear Penthouse Forum” tribute — leaning hard into that vintage adult-magazine-letter vibe, with a supernatural Evil Inc twist.
