And yes, before anyone alerts the Wardrobe Continuity Department: Some of those clothes could not possibly have been removed without taking off the boots or gloves first.

Please assume that supervillain fabric technology, an unseen break between rounds, or the ancient magic of “don’t overthink it” has handled the logistics.
Tempest, meanwhile, has kept her cool throughout the match — perhaps a little too cool. Miss Match is usually very good at reading her opponent’s tells, but Tempest has a chemical advantage: A perfectly regulated dose of Cortisol Calm, keeping her expression serene even as the competition gets increasingly undressed.
Of course, cheating at Joust is still cheating.
But cheating at Strip Joust is simply good strategy.
