Hello...
It's been a while since my last proper long winded post and here's the first one of the year.
Around 2 years ago I finally moved out of my family home to the big city, a bit of adjustments and changes along the way and tried to keep the content going. Last Year was supposed to be already settled in but then realized I still need a bit more adjustments to the changes, it didn't felt like the first shot of coming here and more like that bad hangover lasting the whole year.
Along with IRL changes I felt a bit of changes in my own works too, felt blocks here and there and lack of creativity at times. I know... Iknow, there has been a lot of praise but "you are your greatest critic" and that is true. One of the many to be specific is that I have been unsatisfied with poses, felt like I've been coming back to an overused template.
So this year will actually be the period where I actualy felt more comfortable on my new environment and I need to do something to spice up my work cause I'm not feeling it at times. I did many things, like 2 years ago with the Fury only commissions, was fun and actually learned how to better transact online thru it. Last year also did a story contest which I still need to finish one more pic, which is also a source of lacking motivation.
All of those experiments are meant to stretch my creativity and mindset, also a sort of members interaction. I know I haven't been the most active talker even with a discord channel but now that I have a better grasps of schedules will try to have more interaction. Another thing I also learned last year was talking to more artists, I'm having a colab will BilBiao which is another project plague by my art block and a new artist FuroB which share some great taste. It's very humbling to know that I can inspire others for that's what got me started in the first place too.
The plan now is try to dig up that Livestream corpse I did a long time ago, will test out schedules maybe twice a week. Also clean up the discord and provide more activities there. The idea is like ElijahPink where we can interact more and the priveledges are sketch, doodle and idea suggestions... where you can just drop some and see if I find something interesting. Like I do plan on jump starting commissions cause at times those actually get the best ideas out of me.
Final words... Will be doing more interactive stuff this year, have better work ethics and schedules. Fixing creativity issues and Discord cleaning to be more streamlined. And as alway I am very greatful to everyone here, new and old... Even if I myself felt the lack of progress in me, I would always felt pride in sharing my works with you. From the commissions with other peoples ideas, to my own stories and comics. I am greatful to share our creativity with our shared interests. And here's hoping this year would be better and a stepping point to the creativity that TIE us together!
