firstly that was pretty cool. seeing the birthplace of anime. seeing how they do things.
i partialy went to get specific paints, but when i found them, i was told i can not bring them home. at all. no on plains. so that was a real nice stab in the back.
but the country is beautiful. seeing all the people desperate for pokemon card was interesting. like every day there where LINES of people at every store to buy BOXES of cards. the card resellers where charging so much for single cards. i saw a card that was selling for 5 million yen. thats like real big.
they have little buildings full of claw games, and one had pokemon card boxes in them, and it looks like someone had won, and right there, ripped open every pack and threw out all the junk cards. so i grabbed all of them for... i duno. got a stack of Japanese pokemon common cards. trophy.
when we got on the plain, the info video for safety had pokemon in it. and when we landed, they had a full pokemon narrative just to entertain people disembarking.
but still, its disappointing to see how FUCKING MASSIVE pokemon is and how much fucking money they make, and its almost insulting how buggy and shit the games are now. those games should be the most beautiful and incredibly well made and polished games in existence, with full narative storys that drive a plot and make you invested.
but instead its just "go catch the pokemon we made avalible this time"
the games are just a gate for the MASSIVE machine that is everything that trickles down from them. the games are just release trailers for the massive consumer train that is pokemon.
also, the availability of porn was INSANE. you could get to hentai in most shops. which is crazy cause they censor everything. but like... its so easy to get to. sex shops and sex toys. they had panties in capsule machines on the street outside archery games. like, it was not hard.
and they have no alcohol laws. you can drink and be drunk on the street 24/7. the convenience stores sell alcohol. just buy it and crack one open. and they only cost like 200 yen.
for reference, 500 yen is 3$. 1000 yen is 6$. and food was so cheep. food and alcohol where endlessly flowing.but the biggest disappointment is the LACK OF REPRESENTATION FOR DIGIMON!
they had card sellers on every corner in the tourist spots and i only found 1 that had digimon. they just started a new card game a couple years ago. but its just dead. and i only found 4 figures. total. digimon merch was nonesistant. real let down since going to the digimon locations was a fukin highlight for me.
but besides that it was a cool time.
but we are back, so, back to business.
we got banned from paypal. loosing paypal was a kick in the gut. since it locked $1700 in it for 90 days. its not the end of the world. my actual bank account can fund everything, but i dont have an easy way to pay out. but it also banned my personal paypal. which is WILD. which means i cant set up a new paypal cause they banned my NAME. so im pretty much blacklisted. i am going to fight it, but i dont have a leg to stand on here. they decided to just blanket ban for being a risk. dont know if its someone reporting me or just paypals automated system decided one day.
good news, we got instagram back! we are unbanned and the CP charges are dropped. but instagram is still locked. i have the account restored but the log in is still locked. i gotta have a tech go in and check the status and reactivate the account which is turning into a bull shit thing because THERE IS NO WAY TO TALK TO ANYONE! their own ai is like go fill out this tech request form, and it always just links back to THE SAME AI. and even it is like wtf!
so i have to stay off it for 24 hours and then try and log in. i had to do some crazy bull shit like log in to facebook, and request a data download from instagram. that should kick the system into checking that the account is unlocked. then wait 24 hours since it probably locked me out for trying to log in so many times. so TOMORROW i can maybe get back in. otherwise i will have to send another letter because not being able to talk to someone is stupid. but HAHA AI IS THE BEST!
i did sign up for meta verified. which im told is the only way to talk to an actual person. did that as soon as i was able to log in to facebook. but i did it as a creator and not a business. and in order to verify, my account has to have the same name as my passport. which, as you can guess, im not going to do.
and i cant CANCEL the order cause it needs to be verified. they need pictires of my ID. and i cant CANCEL until it finishes its verification. so when i uploaded the "photo of my id" i just took a picture of a piece of paper that said "im trying to switch to meta business verified and i cant cancel until the verification is finished"
so i got an email that said wait 3 days, and the transaction will void and you will be refunded. then sign up for the business verified. but thats still 3 more days i cant talk to anyone.
they tried to ban my twitter, but i dont know what that was. i think because i was still giving daddy elon money, they just cleared the ban cause they dont give a shit. so i had to reactivae the payments cause i need a safety net. but now that paypal is gone, im kinda in trouble. gotta cut up the paypal credit card and such. dont know how to pay artists or recieve payments.
we are looking into crypto. but its going to be a few days before i can get back on my feet just trying to get a payment system set up.
and i have to go through all the emails from the last 2 weeks still. and all the artists, and figures to go through and i have no way to pay for anything.
so please be patient with me. its going to be a ..... a bit... as i try and get some sense of normalcy.
i know a lot of files are missing from the welcome pack.
before i left, someone was going through and just reporting anything related to underage characters even if they where not. so i had to get drastic and remove even more files. so a lot of links are broken. thats on the list.
current priority's:
go through email.
go through discord stuff. (artists and models)
release new models
find a new payment system.
FIX discord.
FIX Instagram.
test payment system
fix all the printers. most broke before i left.
finish printing all open orders and get that shit shipped!
reupload all old models under the OC tag. "mysterious OC adult anime character" but put the tags for anya forger or something. make the characters black probably too.
set up a new commission style. possibly commission slots so i can stop trying to kill myself being overworked.
start new characters to sculpt.
get the ratrig fucking working finally. dont know where to start with that
work on fucking Jessica rabbit.
