Good morning folks! We've made it to another Saturday!
It's finally warm and sunny here, so everything green has exploded at once. I'm really loving the scenery and fresh air, but alas, that also means my spring allergies are hitting hard. I am currently trying to perform a balancing act between being in an allergy medication unsleep coma and having itchy red buttholes for eyes. Right now it's the buttholes. Tonight it will be the unsleep.
I got a relatively good amount of work done last week despite all that. I've decided to try out a new system with my work schedule to promote short term motivation and make my resting time more guilt free. Basically, it's my normal 8hr work day, but if I get 10 new placeholders done, I can take the rest of the day off. If I don't, I just do my normal work day, no big deal.
So far, I think it's working really well. I've reached the quota a few times and gotten to take a few extra hours off while still feeling pretty accomplished. I think I'll keep going with this new system for now.
I now have exactly 300 placeholder sprites, and Day 1 is almost fully sprited [ just some niche scenarios left I think ] This last week I just started getting into the first night. At this point I think I can say it's pretty likely that YKMET:Lawrence will end up with more sprites than YKMET:Strade, though I would say it's mostly just due to style of the story. As I've mentioned before, a lot of the sprites are very similar, like slight variations on expressions.

I didn't make any progress on my Zelda thing this week but I might work on it tomorrow. Maybe even a steam if I'm feeling up to it, but no promises LMAO
For now, that's all I got! Oh, except for the Willow section of course
