Hey there!First of all, happy new year!Hope you’re all having a great start to the year.
In this post I want to talk a bit more in detail about the final version of the Bus Voyeur and what I’m currently working on.
> Extra Scenes – Completed
Let’s start with the good news: all extra scenes are now fully finished. This includes animations, adjustments, and general testing to make sure everything works properly in-game.
Here’s how the extra scenes are distributed:
> EXTRA SET 1
Athena Asamiya (KOF 2002)
Power (Chainsaw Man)
Nami (One Piece)
Nico Robin (One Piece)
> EXTRA SET 2
Claire Redfield (Resident Evil 2 / Code: Veronica)
Terry Bogard (Female version)
Penny (Stardew Valley)
Yor Forger (Spy x Family)
> EXTRA SET 3
Téa Gardner (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
Minako Aino (Sailor Moon)
Misty (Pokémon)
Ryuko Matoi (Kill la Kill)
> EXTRA SET 4
Hitomi (Dead or Alive)
Android 18 (Dragon Ball Z)
Honoka Kosaka (Love Live!)
Shoko Komi (Komi Can’t Communicate)
These scenes won’t receive any major changes anymore, aside from small fixes if any unexpected bugs show up.
> Changes to Normal Mode
The Normal Mode is going to receive some important changes.Right now, the game is a bit harder than it should be, especially for new players.
The way scenes with clothing sets 1 to 4 are played will change. Most likely, the dial focusing mechanic will be exclusive to Hard Mode, where it makes more sense as a challenge.
I’m still testing things, but it’s very likely that Normal Mode will play closer to how it worked in earlier versions, with a single bar to be filled.
> Clothing Distribution
I’m also considering changing how clothing pieces are distributed in the scenes.
At the moment, the system is more random, but I’m thinking about something that would be more comfortable and clearer for the player: giving each clothing set its own scene instead of mixing them.
In practice, this would mean:
1 clothing set per level
8 levels total
A more organized and predictable progression
> UI Changes
The user interface will also get some improvements.I want to avoid menus feeling too cluttered.
Some buttons are currently too small, especially for touch screens, so buttons will be bigger and better organized, layouts will be cleaner. The gallery will also be updated.
The goal is to make everything easier and more comfortable to use.
> Next Focus: “Uppie” Mode
From now on, I’ll be focusing on finishing the “Uppie” mode.
I feel like this mode doesn’t feel very interesting yet. I’m going to redo some drawings and tweak the level progression a bit so it feels more rewarding. There will be 4 clothing sets per character, and each scene will focus on a specific set.
This mode will be played in the same way as Normal Mode, and it will also use the one set per scene structure.
Once I have something solid to show, I’ll share it with you all. Hopefully, within this month.
As always, thanks a lot for the support, the patience, and all the feedback you’ve been giving. It really helps a lot to polish the game!
