Let's start with some programming fun, with Unai. We're hard at work on animations to have something visible for the Beta. We're working intensely to bring you guys around 5 minutes of Chapter 15. I'm also working on a system I can start teasing: a new camera system that will allow for some dramatic zooms, as well as an environment system to allow for scenes to happen in the middle of fog, while raining, or with sunbeams. So, get ready for that soon!
Okay, back to Nuria's for what you guys really care about.
I don't know if you'll like this redesign... I always feel that regarding redesigns, when it's Cain's turn, he's always the one who's changed the most. The hair has changed a lot. At first, when I first designed Cain, I wanted him to have a kind of messy, slightly curly hairstyle. I knew what I wanted, but I didn't know how to make it happen.
It looked okay-ish, but when drawing the Dating Killmulator comic, I straightened Cain's hair to look more like the idea I first had in mind. A lot of you noticed and asked why it was different. I just didn't know any better, and I wanted his hair to make sense (after a whole year, I feel Cain's original hair looked like tiny turds).
His neck scar is more visible, alongside with his shoulder pact. If you've seen Abel's redesign in another Patreon post, you'll see they no longer have the same body (makes sense if you think about it). He's leaner than Abel and a tiny bit taller, too.
He's rocking his grey Cain Kleins (iykyk), and he has an overall cat-like image, which is how I initially pictured Cain. I talked about it with Unai once: Cain would be a black cat, Abel would be a golden retriever, and Florian would be a goat/sheep.
He's still your Cain, ghosting and all, so I hope you like him!
