I struggled a lot with Ned's redesign.
I tried to remake him, but every time I had a sketch, it somehow looked weird and really, really ugly. Because I had originally designed him in the latter part of the first season, I've come to the conclusion that maybe I didn't need to change him that much. His style was pretty much what I envisioned for him.
That's why he mostly stayed the same. He had to be animated, so I redrew him, but look-wise he hasn't changed. His clothes are less sporty and more emo or punkish (I don't know what I'm talking about). His eyeliner is still smudged, and his fingers have some of that too.
