So. We are changing the benefits of the higher tiers. Why? Because the expense of Fiend creating unique art for bookmark and prints, printing them out, and sending them is about 3/5 of the money I get from Patreon. And with TikTok's monetization policy being gutted, I have to be a little more thrifty these days. It's also an added stress on Fiend themself, on top of everything else they do for me and their own business.
Luckily there is a solution: turns out, outsourcing the creation of unique character pins and keychains is actually cheaper than the bookmark and print Fiend does. Mass-produced factory prices, ya know?
And, since I'm already hiring a different artist every month to do character art for the $5 monthly sticker, it just makes more sense to use that same design for a pin and keychain that you can get on higher tiers.
So here's the new thing:
No more bookmarks and prints.
$1-$2: no changes
$5 tier: no change, you still get your monthly character sticker
$15 tier: sticker + character pin every month
$25 tier: sticker + character pin + keychain every month
This goes into effect February 1st, so if you want to change your tier, I suggest you do so immediately. Fiend needs a little extra time to order those pins and keychains, which means I need to give them the list of people who get those goodies at the start of the month.
