As you know, we’re getting close to releasing Episode 3 of the final season. During the holidays, I managed to get a bit of work done, but the most important task was rendering animations. This is always one of the most time-consuming parts of development, so being able to render most of them was a huge step forward. Each animation takes around 12–16 hours to complete.
Since I properly got back to work on Monday, I’ve been focusing on the final event of the episode, while Lovorko continued posing additional animations. Over the next week, I’ll go through all the renders to see what needs fixing, tweaking, or adjusting. After that, I’ll move on to debugging the episode.
In the meantime, the bulk of the animations should be posed. Hopefully, by the end of next week, most of the heavy work will be behind us, leaving only final testing and the remaining animations to render. There are still about 20–30 animations left to pose and render, so even if they were all magically finished on Monday and I rendered them nonstop, the episode still wouldn’t be ready by the end of the week. This part simply takes time and there isn't much I can do about it.
