Hi guys,How is everybody doing?
Before I get into last week’s report, I need to explain why this is coming on a Tuesday afternoon. As you know, I’ve been working on the beach event, which turned out to be far more complex and frustrating than I initially expected. Having two different characters (Bea / Emma) appear at the beach beside Tris and Charlotte made things more complicated than planned. On top of that, I also had to account for whether each girl’s path was active or not and MC's job.
Long story short, I kind of shot myself in the foot with this event, but it’s finally done, and I can move on to something else. Right now, my main goal is to finish the writing as soon as possible, since I’ve already spent a lot of time on it.
There are still a few big events left to write for this episode, but hopefully they won’t be as complex.
On the side project (Dirty Texts – Anthology), last Sunday (March 22th) I finished writing everything for the first version. I’ve prepared three new stories, and the images were being generated while I was writing on No More Money. What’s left is animating a few scenes and prepare the endings. Hopefully, sometime in April/May we’ll be able to release the first version for you to check out.
The goal for this project is to have around 12 stories in a single game. I’ll keep you updated, but since I’m only working on it one or two days a week, it will take some time. Still, it’s a nice way to break the routine every now and then.
That being said, I’m going to take today off, but I’ll be back at it tomorrow and will keep you updated on the progress.
