As you can see, we're getting really close to wrapping up the static renders. This week I again managed to do a bit over 200. It would've been more, but I lost almost a day trying to get good wet skin and modify Charlotte's hair so it would look right in the shower scene. The asset I've been using so far for her wet hair was changing her look more than I wanted, so I tried to tweak the existing one, and since I have zero background in 3D modeling, that turned into a pretty daunting process. I still need to adjust the texture of the hair a little bit to make it look more wet, but I've lost enough time on this already.
Anyway, that's out of the way now, and we're close to wrapping up all the static renders. I really hope to get them done next week, or at least get really, really close. On the animation side, Lovorko has been working on them, but I haven't had the chance to review most of his work yet. Hopefully next week we'll have a big jump on that front too.
Once the static renders are done, I'll mainly focus on animations and on implementing the mini-game for the volleyball match.
