Hey everyone! Let me present to you the Valley of Faces, a free map from the Daniel's Maps backlog.
The Valley of Faces has numerous humanoid faces carved out of the rocky cliffs. These faces appear mundane during the day, but some nights their eyes glow and appear to be following those traveling by.
When the elves that fled the Elven Purge settled in their new home they found they were not the first to live here. The land was uninhabited, but obviously want always so. While there are no signs of cities or towns, there are countless monuments scattered throughout the land. One of these is the Valley of Faces.
A gorge that stretches on for almost 10 miles and a river running through the entire length has countless faces carved out of the sides. While there are rugged they are clearly recognizable as human faces. During daytime they appear mundane, but some nights their eyes start to glow. Their glowing eyes appear as wig following those walking by and their facial features appear animated. however, closer inspection, reveals no movement.
While the faces themselves don't appear harmful, many people prefer to avoid the gorge after feeling a sense of dread or feeling like they're being watched.
