Hey everyone! Let me present to you the Great Trees of Felininwe, a the second map for the Natural Wonders theme.
The Great Trees of Felininwe are the pride of the elves and faerie folk that live there. They are towering giants, with thick branches, large enough to serve as bridges that can be found all throughout the Feylin Forest.
The elves have made their homes at the roots of these trees, in small wooden cottages that perfectly blend with the shape of the trees, making it seem like there trunks are even larger than they already are. Below the canopy, that reaches hundreds of feet above the ground, they hold celebrations, ceremonies and festivals.
Even from outside of the Feylin Forest these great trees can be observed. When standing on a great hill and looking out over the forest of faeries, these enormous trees seem like hills in the forest, as the canopy sudden rises dozens, if not hundreds of feet.
Most visitors are not aware of the network of branches far above them, concealed by the thick growth. Elves use them to observe intruders and determine their intentions before then can reach any settlements or homes.
