Wolf Queen Shion [OC][Sketch]

Alright, I am a lot happier with the results of this shading by switching to a 2H pencil for a lighter shade, but I still have a long way to go. The effect and quality is also depended on the smoothness of the lead, as well as the gradient of the paper I am using. The softer printing paper texture helped a lot.

The inspiration for this design came from the artist Ichirin, who you can find on twitter for more of their stellar work: https://twitter.com/ichiren02 

They have both a sketching style and inking style I find especially attractive, perfect for both manga and graphic novels.

To be honest, I am quite in love with this girl's design. While I love Eva [Reina's girlfriend in Golden Age] for her tanned skin and short black hair, I also love the Amazonian body of this wild girl.

She would be a perfect rival to Red Sonja, and perhaps even a lover... maybe.

Who knows... she may even show up in Golden Age itself as a hunter of beasts.

Only time will tell.
