DESCRIPTION

Back in version 0.6.7, we wanted to add a system that would fully adapt the game to different screen sizes. But after reviewing all the existing options—from those provided by Unity itself to those used in other games—none of them met our needs. And since updates were released once a month at that time, we simply didn’t have enough time to add a complex and experimental system to the game that needed to be tested before release. That’s why version 0.6.7 included only a portion of the planned settings, such as changing the game window mode (Fullscreen, Borderless, Windowed). Now, with our new release schedule and as we approach the completion of Phase 1 of development, we have the time and resources, which is why...

Today, Whire presents its proprietary adaptation system—True Pixel View!

The main principle of this system is to maintain a fixed number of in-game pixels within the game window. We want every user to see the same amount of content regardless of their device’s screen. Aspect ratios ranging from 22:9 all the way down to 4:3 are fully supported, covering nearly 100% of monitors worldwide. In other cases, the algorithm will create black bars at the edges of the screen.

Resolution settings will be accessed via a convenient drop-down menu that includes both presets for popular resolutions for quick selection and a simple auto-adjustment feature. For more precise adjustments, the same menu features a smart input field for custom resolutions, which automatically checks whether the entered value is supported and corrects the result if necessary. Additionally, for your convenience, you can separately adjust the refresh rate in hertz (Hz).

And for those who want to get a closer look at the game world, we've added the ability to zoom in with the in-game camera.
