The breathing plugin is essentially complete, but I am holding off on releasing it until I am more satisfied with the breathing sounds.
I understand that this situation may be frustrating for some of you. The original deadline for the scene has long passed, and recently I have been spending more time developing plugins than working directly on the scene itself.
However, these plugins were not developed separately from scene production. Most of them were created to solve effects and interactions that are difficult or time-consuming to achieve with a conventional setup.
Facial expressions are a good example. Creating a wide variety of context-appropriate expressions often requires a large number of triggers, conditions, and supporting logic. Setting everything up can be surprisingly time-consuming. Breathing is no different. Achieving natural results requires careful synchronization between morphs and audio, which can take a significant amount of work.
Because of that, I have been focusing on creating tools that make these kinds of high-quality effects easier and faster to implement in actual scenes.
Thank you for your patience and continued support.
It may not be much consolation, but I will make sure to show exactly how these plugins are meant to be used through the actual scene.
