DESCRIPTION

And with that, we made it to the end of the year. Whew!

In terms of art, I produced 106 images this year, not counting alt versions, which is an insane amount given the fact that this year I focused much more time on expanding my knowledge in Blender. However, if I am being honest, this year felt really like I was kind of spinning my own wheels and I really only have myself to blame. I started off the year with big prospects of doing my ninja turtles 3D animation, but that quickly fell off when I realized I had to focus on earning money and drawing more commissions.

Whenever I had new energy to return to 3D, I would get distracted by all sorts of ideas, occasions or side projects. It really showed how fickle my own focus can be and it something I want to improve on in 2026. My biggest issue is that I always want to go all out in terms of quality, so I can never just release rough sketches, everything has to be colored, shaded and fully rendered with backgrounds and details. It caused me to sink time into little side projects that while fun, really chipped away at the time I had available for the big passion projects that I wanted to do. Which is why I am glad that I at least returned to my comic again at the end of the year.

This is all just a rambling way of saying to please not expect the same output of me in 2026, but rather smaller updates of bigger projects instead. I also want to do commissions more regularly again and focus more of my energy on those. Often times I will get distracted by occasions like Pride Month, Halloween or this year, the release of Zootopia 2. I felt so much fear of missing out / FOMO after the release of the first Zootopia movie, that I wanted to get ahead of the release this year and produce 8 (!) pictures in the timespan of 6 weeks. I was needlessly pushing myself to what would otherwise basically be a paid art pack.

However, I want to say that despite me feeling like I didn't accomplish all the goals I wanted this year, I still enjoyed working on all of these pictures. Drawing my bunny character Rick with all those piercings, doing Legoshi and Bill for Pride Month, or celebrating the much needed vacation I took with Asyr with a beach picture, they all are works I look back on fondly.

Overall I want to thank all of you for continuing to support me and follow my works. Times are tough right now and I want to give people things to enjoy and brighten their moods. I wish all of you a nice New Year's Eve and hope that 2026 will be a great year for all of you.

Thanks everyone & Happy New Year!
