Baron Corbin is planned to come back to the company. He finished up with MLW in Chattanooga.
The King of the Ring winner was kept close to the vest last week.
There have been discussions regarding Tatum Paxley heading to the main roster, but we haven't got a confirmation yet.
People in WWE/NXT have long expected that Hiromu Takahashi will eventually come to the company.
TNA:
When asking around about potential new talent coming into the company, we're told that would just likely be a regular occurrence throughout the summer.
TNA confirmed a women's TV title tournament starts this week.
As Fightful Select reported, Road Dogg is expected to join the company, and has been planned for a number of weeks.
Though the statement claimed a "mutual departure" of Tommy Dreamer," the company made the decision to move on from him. Some expected it to happen after Slammiversary, but we're told Anthem wanted a fresher approach for the major show.
Eric Tompkins is also set to join creative. He helped with the AJ Francis segment last week that got a lot of praise.
If any recently released WWE talent appear on tonight's show, they would have had to have gotten approval from WWE. There are some that actually had their contracts expire.
AEW
The internal belief is that Swerve Strickland vs. Will Ospreay is planned as the main event.
Toni Storm was the original plan for the Owen Hart Tournament winner. Then it was pivoted to Willow. Both women being sidelined caused massive changes to all the women's singles plans.
The current plan is for Wlilow Nightingale to come back in July. We're told there have always been big plans for her this year.
We're told the final plans for the Men's Owen Hart Foundation tournament have been pretty well in effect for months.
Mark Briscoe told Fightful that he feels comfort when competing in hardcore matches, and that he always is looking for new things to do in them.
