What do you think AEW could do to be a better partner to NJPW?
They send talent to New Japan, they share talent with New Japan. When they sign talent from New Japan, the company can still use them. They put NJPW talent on US TV. They are running the CMLL/NJPW show on their MYAEW service. When compared to some of the other partnerships in wrestling, I think it's ideal for New Japan as they're paying people way less money.
Hey Sean! Thanks for always answering the most random questions. I'll stick to the opinion stuff today. In your opinion, who is someone who would have killed in another era but just isn't clicking today and vice versa; who from the past would have done so much better today?
If he could keep his shit straight, prime Marty Jannetty would be a great talent in today's style of pro wrestling. 2 Cold Scorpio should get his flowers more, and had it all. Sherri Martel was a big star, but would have been able to do so much more in the ring on a WWE/AEW level. Luna Vachon would have been INCREDIBLE in modern day WWE or AEW as well.
The Creeds and the Steiners would have had one of the greatest tag team feuds of all time in the 1990s. Rusev in the 1980s would have made so much money with Hulk Hogan. Ben Bishop would have done incredibly well in 1990s pro wrestling. Nattie would have been perfect in 1994-1995 WWF as the top opponent to Alundra Blayze and being worked into the Bret Hart and Owen Hart drama.
Did Max caster do something to get into Tony Khan's dog house
Well yes. A number of the raps. I don't know what more is to be said. The Acclaimed ran its course, and Max Caster had success with his Best Wrestler Alive gimmick. After that, nothing quite caught on. But I don't think he's done anything of late.
I've noticed that since Mercedes came back to AEW, she has a new version of her theme song. I believe during her absence, Gunther went back to using Symphony No. 9 unless I'm getting the dates wrong. I know this gets a bit tin foil hatty, but are the two connected? Did AEW not want her using a theme song that flat out contained a WWE wrestler's theme?
There's no connection there. At least what I've heard. That's an interesting theory, though.
Do you know when the next wwe encyclopedia will be made?
I've heard absolutely nothing regarding a new WWE Encyclopedia. They last made one in 2009. I think they should produce one, considering the old versions are very popular for autograph collectors, and that and the merchandising world are blowing up huge at this stage.
