Hey Sean. I saw that Dream Pro Wrestling is putting on a benefit show for Rebel, in Louisville. Are you going to be involved or checking it out?
I will not be involved as of now, for a couple of reasons. I just became aware of it recently, and also I don't have a license in Kentucky, which is required to do almost anything. However, Tanea/Rebel/Not Reba is a friend of mine and we will do anything as an outlet to support if. I'm going to reach out to see if we can get some talent on our shows to help promote it. Kentucky wrestling is important to me, and so is Rebel, so I'm sure we will make it work.
What are your top 4 Def Rebel themes? 😅
Okay, they do suck, but I can easily find four I can stand. The Trick Williams theme is INCREDIBLE. Hearing it at Stadium Swim for Mania was incredible. Santos Escobar's theme song was so good, and the kind of things we used for Fightful intros for years. LA Knight's song fits him incredibly well, which isn't that tough to emulate, but the bar is low here. Roman Reigns' is also a very easy selection there.
hey SRS, do you know if there's been any internal chatter about elevating Chad Gable to the main event? not giving him a title match against Roman in his hometown of Minneapolis feels like a real wasted opportunity as he seems to be one of the few guys in WWE right now with any real fan goodwill
The main event? I don't know. I definitely expect him to be elevated into the Intercontinental Championship scene, and possibly even winning that before long. I also think he will forever be a main eventer in AAA when he goes back there as well. I haven't heard of any imminent plans for him to be in the world title scene. He wants that, though. He's very publicly said that.
