WWE tryout attendee was being looked at by TNA

A WWE tryout name recently had an opportunity with another company.

Fightful Select has learned that J Rod was on TNA’s creative radar recently as she was announced for her WWE tryout. Those we spoke to confirmed that she was given a tryout match in Nashville, as well. TNA tryout matches happen at each set of tapings, and happen pretty broadly.

However, we’re told that her name came up under the last regime as well, and Tommy Dreamer didn’t believe she was ready as of yet. J Rod is the current OVW Women’s Champion, has had a WWE tryout in the past, has worked WOW Women of Wrestling and is on American Gladiators.
