Hey everyone!
No extension update this time - I’m still deep in development on the inventory system. Right now I’m working on the base version (without the full RPG mechanics yet), and even in its unfinished state I’m already loving how much more convenient it makes things. Once this feature is complete, a lot of videos will feel more interactive and easier to follow (after I rework them to use the new inventory of course).
But so this post isn’t just “still working on it”…I think it’s finally time to reveal a little something about my own JOI video project. 😏
I’m still keeping the anime source a secret - let’s just say it’s from a very long serie and I pretty much grew up together with the MC. Instead, here’s a censored diagram to tease the structure:
As you can see, the video will have a very rich branching storyline with multiple paths and outcomes. This is not going to be a simple linear JOI - it’s designed to feel like a full experience, something you can replay many times and still discover new routes.
My goal is to make this video utilize almost every feature TJC offers.
Basically, it will be a showcase of the full TJC power, while still being high-quality JOI content on its own. A mix of passion project, technical demo, and something I want to be genuinely fun and hot to play through.
