DESCRIPTION

Hey everyone!

Big announcement first: the migration is done. Bye bye Windows.

Did you notice any change? You shouldn't have as the transition went way smoother than I dared to hope. The whole setup and migration was so smooth and easy that at some point I got suspicious and kept thinking "this can't possibly be this simple, something is going to break." But nope. It just worked. I'm really happy with the setup I have now.

Now let me cry a little about Patreon being mean. 😀

My latest post with the demo got flagged, and I was forced to restrict it to members only so it wouldn't get deleted entirely. The reason given? "Partial nudity." Except... there was no nudity. At all. The cover image is completely safe, the girl is fully clothed, not even any cleavage. The only thing it could possibly be referring to is the demo video, which is hosted on YouTube, not Patreon. And YouTube didn't flag anything. So why should Patreon?

I asked their support for clarification. According to their own info, they were supposed to reply within 2 days. It's now been... what, half a month? And still nothing. So clearly their support isn't something I can rely on.

This pushes me toward an idea I've been mulling over a while ago: at some point I might set up my own blog that can't be censored this easily, and maybe even route subscription payments through my own website instead of Patreon. Which would actually be a win for both of us. Patreon takes way more than the advertised 8% once you factor in all the other fees. So you'd pay less and I'd still get more. Worth considering, right?

Okay, enough yapping... I have good news.

First, thank you all for being so patient. I genuinely didn't expect the last poll to land with such strong agreement that I should take my time and get this right. So that's exactly what I am trying to do.

I've already squashed a bunch of bugs that would have otherwise gone live, and most importantly I fixed a really frustrating issue with sudden burst of the toy after a pause. I'm calling the fix enhanced smoothening. It'll be part of the initial release, and you can optionally turn it off if your toy behaves well without it. Check the demo to see the before/after difference:

(I tried to censor it more aggressively this time, so hopefully Patreon won't cry about it again. πŸ™„)

There's also a new notification that tells you when the toy actually starts. Not all funscripts run through the entire video. Some only activate during specific parts so instead of sitting there wondering why nothing is happening, you'll get a heads-up about when it starts. This can also be turned off if it annoys you.

So overall I really hope the wait will be worth it.

Now I am moving to final stage... And that's testing, testing, and more testing.

BUT!

This isn't just a work-in-progress post. We have an actual update here too.

It's another round of Wheel of Fortune bug fixes (the wheel never stops giving), plus some background changes preparing for something pretty big coming very soon. I don't want to reveal too much yet... let's just say there's a BIG video on the way. Like, really big - the longest one on JOI DB so far.

So stay tuned for what's coming. ❀️- SPRÁÁŠ
