DESCRIPTION

Happy Friday!

This week, I've worked on a plethora of things. Let's take them one by one.

Pack Quest: Done! I added all the art, coded all the buttons, tested it, and it works. I hope it's trickier than Episode 11, but not too tricky.

Steam achievements: I have coded additional achievements based on Episode 12 and the season as a whole. I also created the art for those. I'm now up to 47 Steam achievements for Season 3.

Special renders: Normally, I create the Special render sets early in each episode's development, but I haven't begun on these yet. This week, I placed all the magazines in the game and made sure they work. We're talking hidden buttons in the story, magazines during free roam events, mini-game unlocks, the Vault, and other kinds of unlocks. As soon as I make the SR sets, this area will be completed. I'm not getting around to making the SR sets yet; I have other things I'd rather work on right now. And both Isabella and Camila deserve my undivided attention for their SR sets.

The Vault: It was a minor thing to complete, but nevertheless, the digits are in the episode, and the Vault works.

Miscellaneous: I've made some minor tweaks to the main menu and added some missing 2D art to the game.

I continued to play a main girl branch and added two scenes to it. I wrote and created the art and animations needed. I'm roughly halfway through this branch and will continue with it next week.

I have worked plenty more on music and SFX. I want to add more songs to the silent areas of the episode, which means deciding whether to add new songs or reuse old ones. At the moment, episode 12 has 21 new songs, but I have 19 more I haven't added yet. I will likely add 10+ of those to this episode during next week.

When playing, I'm also making notes here and there about things to fix and stopping to make necessary changes, ranging from missing renders to weird dialogue and wrong code.

The render queue is still massive - 108 animations. 3 PCs are working on 6 slow-to-render animations, while the rest are working on faster animations. I'm seeing a higher frames-completed-per-day rate than in previous weeks, and I'm hoping this trend continues.

On a final note, I hope I didn't fool too many with my silly April Fool's joke. I don't use any AI in my work, nor do I intend to. It's just not for me.

Have a nice weekend
