Hello, folks!Time for a little update. All good, happily working on the update. My 'day' job has kept me somewhat busy, and so my planned deadlines get skewed a little, but I'm planning to release Episode 9 Part 1 this month. As I've mentioned before I want to make the episodes shorter, but release them more frequently. Long production cycles seem to decrease interest and also makes myself more burnt out after such a big undertaking. So smaller, more manageable bites is what I want to try. In summary, Similar amount of renders and animations just split up over a longer period.
I find this to be a nice change of pace for me as well. Not sure what the final amount of content will be in this update, but it's definitely not going to match the previous output. I hope to release this update before Christmas or shortly after. Depends on how complex the animations will get.
Other than that. I'm consciously trying to make the scenes in this episode more stimulating. more engaging. More stuff going on and things advancing and escalating a lot more. More consequences, and more intrigue. Been watching some shows lately and trying to, as always, improve my writing, etc. Let's hope I can deliver on that front. Just to 'hint' at what's in the episode... Let's just say, It's been a looong time coming and I feel like a lot of people will enjoy it. I will release more detail on what's coming in the next update. Next week.
