Happy festive season to everyone! I hope you are having a good time and I wish that all your dreams come true.
A bit about my progress. Finishing up last scene for the update. Render amount will come out above 800 renders. Perhaps closer to 900. Last scene I'm making right now is a lewd scene. Not sure how many positions I'll be making ;) But a few of the scenes I've been creating took longer than I expected, adding to that, I still have to make some animations. Might postpone the release a little bit, into new year. Besides, might be fiscally more responsible when the new month roles around :)
So far, I'm pretty satisfied with what I've made, though an epiphany struck me a few days ago. This game has been a slow-burn of sorts for most of it's time. And now that characters and their relationships have fleshed out much more, I think it's time to also give more lewd scenes to those characters. What I mean by that is, with creative and natural advancement lead more scenes into 'fun' stuff faster. It has been more often that you go do something with someone, and no lewdness happens or it happens only after a longer build up (over multiple scenes and updates). At this point most girls MC engages with have been with him and I think that his desires and 'impulses' need to be sated AND those of the girls that have taken a real, deep and sexual liking to him. So. Let's say the next update is similar in size of 800 renders or so. It might have closer to the amount of lewd scenes that a 1600 render update might have, for comparison.
The logistics of making animations for that many scenes is still to be figured out, but I feel like that's the way to go. Let me know what you think :)
Other than that, I also want to really get somewhere with the main story. But I've been saying that forever. :D I will really try to make real things happen with the main story in upcoming episodes. Real stakes, more consequences, proper advancement. Not saying advancement hasn't happened, but MC finally needs a lucky break.
