DESCRIPTION

Hi Everyone,Start the year off with the right mindset!

In this lesson, I'm taking a look at my Patreon school, comparing my current situation to a single sheet of paper I wrote in early 2020 about what I wanted my school to be.

I'm using this comparison as a starting point to discuss the balance between these two ideas:

Waiting to try something until you FEEL like you know enough to be competent VSJumping in and learning as you go

I'm essentially challenging my Patrons to jump in now and be pleasantly surprised by what you learn. I'm arguing that if you wait too long to get involved with another bandmate, a songwriting project, an open mic, etc - you'll end up obsessing about the preparation without having a clear sense of exactly what you need to be prepared for.

Let me know in the comments if you've been putting something off for later that you might be able to try very soon instead.
