First of all, sorry for how quiet things have been lately and for the lack of development progress over the last few months.
For those of you who have reached out to ask how I'm doing, thank you. I really appreciate it. I'm doing much better now.
A few months ago, both Nairi (who handles the coding) and I ended up going through some major life changes at around the same time, which made it very difficult for us to coordinate and keep working on the project for a while.
Then, just as we were starting to get things moving again, I suffered an injury and had to stay away from the computer for medical reasons for several more weeks. I'd rather keep the details private, but thankfully I'm recovering well now. In fact, these are some of my first days properly back at the computer, and honestly it still feels a little weird.
We're now back to work and picking up where we left off. The next update was already in the polishing stage, so the current focus is refining everything and then moving on to bug fixing before release.
I'm really sorry about the delay. It's been a rough period, and I'm definitely feeling a bit of pressure from all the work that's piled up, but I'm happy to finally be back and moving forward again. Once things settle down a little, I'll start sharing posts and progress updates more regularly.
Nairi and I have also been talking about doing smaller updates after this one. That way you'd be able to see progress more often and try things as they're developed instead of waiting so long between releases. We're still discussing it, but it sounds like it could be a better approach.
