STEP 1: CONNECT CRONUS ZEN FOR BYPASS

Before connecting the XIM MATRIX, first connect the Cronus Zen to your console.

Use the CONSOLE USB port on the Cronus Zen and connect it to your PS5 or Xbox with a data USB cable.

Then connect the original controller to the Cronus Zen so the console can recognize/authenticate the device.

This step is only for the basic bypass/authentication connection.

STEP 2: CONNECT XIM MATRIX TO CRONUS ZEN

Connect the XIM MATRIX USB cable to the right front USB port on the Cronus Zen.

The XIM MATRIX will work as a secondary controller connected to the Cronus Zen.

This is where we will connect the mouse for the next step.

STEP 3: CONNECT THE MOUSE TO XIM MATRIX

Connect only the mouse to your XIM MATRIX.

The mouse will be connected as the input device, and the XIM MATRIX will send the output as a controller signal through the Cronus Zen.

ATTENTION: The XIM MATRIX will use the mouse as input, but on the output it will work as a controller.

For this setup, I recommend using a mouse between 10,000 DPI and 15,000 DPI max.

We will use a mouse configuration inside the XIM MATRIX, and the setup will be adjusted using XIM Manager.

STEP 4: SET MOUSE POLLING RATE AND OUTPUT

We will use the mouse at 1000Hz for the XIM MATRIX only.

Note: The Cronus Zen works at 250Hz for the game, but the mouse will still run at 1000Hz on the XIM MATRIX side.

For the XIM MATRIX output, we will use the same option shown in the print:

STEP 5: IMPORT THE CONFIG CODE TO XIM MATRIX

Use the code I’m sharing for your XIM MATRIX.

Open XIM Manager and press the Import button.

After importing the code, your configuration will be ready to use.
