Hey everyone!
I'm sorry for being a little later with this but there was so much work with creating all the versions and sizes for these doors and windows, the days just flew by me. And we had something called Christmas too :D and I took some time to relax a little.
This collection is called Quiet Corner, because I wanted the name to reflect the cozy bookshop vibe as well. This collection is called Quiet Corner, because I wanted the name to reflect the cozy bookshop vibe as well and this gives me exactly that feeling when you're in a bookshop and starting to read the blurbs of the books you're browsing through and you're so concertrated and into it that only the quiet surrounds you. The corner is because there's nothing more inviting than a bookshop in the corner. :D
As I was putting together the photos, I realized how many pieces there actually are, and suddenly it made sense why I couldn’t finish everything I had planned. :D Of course, I had to make bay windows, open doors, curved windows, and on top of that, slightly different styles of windows and doors, with all of the above variations included.
As I said earlier I'll try to finish the remaining items in the next week so I'll upload it earlier than next month so you can really use the coupon code I shared in the previous post.
I wanted to upload this as soon as I’m done with the main pieces so you can already enjoy them, and in the meantime I can finish the swatches for the signs. I really want those to be as versatile as possible.
This set is all about your future shop’s facade, with different styles of windows and doors. I also made a few decorative pieces, such as the pilaster and the sign panel. The sign panel has a slot, so you can place any in-game sign on it. I tried to make the size as large as possible without the windows looking too squeezed, but with some bigger signs you may need to size them down once to make them fit properly. You’ll also be able to use the signs I’m going to make next.
These decor pieces work best when you use quarter-tile placement by pressing the F5 key. If you have it turned on they snap perfectly next to each other.
Each door and window+the sign panel=full wall height. The pilaster has 3 heights as well. I wanted to make it modular but it would have been more complicated and the shader on them looked really awful.
Every 2-tile window has curved variants, so if you want curved windows use those!
Sorry for the long description, I just had a lot to say but I really hope you'll like this! I had fun putting it together, a little less fun putting them into the game but finally they are done! I'm really excited for the interior but first let me finish the outer objects I already made.
