Kelsey and Darius. Darius and Kelsey. All their lives, these two were inseparable. Their friendship started like any childhood friendship would - Darius lost control of his bike on his first solo ride and plowed right through Kelsey’s family’s front window. He needed to be rushed to the hospital, but Kelsey and her family were there with him the whole time. She held his hand when he was scared and when he was in pain when the nurses stitched him up. She even begged her family to help her make lasagna to bring to Darius’ parents for dinner while he was recovering.

That’s how they were - One of them fell down, the other would nurse them back to health. In high school, Kelsey was mercilessly teased for her size. Darius was a strapping young man - 6’, 195 pounds of muscles, with dark curly hair and green eyes - but Kelsey was in her own category. She was 6’5”, muscular with a lean build, and long, dark hair so thick it could be braided into rope. There wasn’t a boy or girl in that school that wasn’t intimidated when they saw her, feeling small and weak, so they wanted to make her feel just the same.

Darius was always there as a shoulder to cry on when another boy would reject her or a girl would leave a nasty note in her gym locker. Darius never minded her size - sure, he’d get pushed around a bit when they’d rough house, but it was nice having a friend strong enough to lift him. They’d always know just how to cheer each other up. For Darius, it was going on long drives to clear his head. Letting the wind whip by him with the window down. For Kelsey - ice cream, sweets, tasty snacks - anything that can satisfy her craving was the perfect salve.

Throughout the rest of their schooling, they’d eventually build in Friday evenings to spend with each other. Neither of them were particularly successful in the dating pool, so they’d stay in and pig out while watching garbage movies from two decades prior. Neither would admit it to the other, but these nights were some of the best of their young lives. They would gab, laugh, cry, and bask in the warm glow of the tv with their best friend.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. They both got accepted into different colleges and would be whisked away to opposite sides of the country. The build up to their goodbye felt like saying your last farewell to your sick family member - they felt like they were losing a part of themselves. A part of their heart would be moving far away, possibly never to be felt again.

They would keep in touch over text almost religiously during their first few months, but things began to drift. Kelsey found her first boyfriend and Darius was getting involved with his business fraternity, planning for his future. One day, the texts just stopped and before either of them noticed just how long it had been since they last spoke, they felt it was far too late to rekindle this friendship.

Seasons passed, years passed. Darius found himself moving back home thanks to his cushy remote job. He was ready to spend time closer to his folks and be far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. He needed the quiet, somber moments of small town living to feel connected to nature - to himself, even.

One night, Darius spent his evening with his parents for dinner, when his Dad mentioned Kelsey. The memories came rushing back. “How could I forget my best friend?” He asked himself, feeling the icy dagger of shame and regret stab at his heart.

“I think she moved back a year or two ago. I don’t think things have been going too well for her. She has been smiling more around town.”

“Don’t let this old man poorly catch you up, Darius. Reach out to her,” his mom encouraged. Back at his luxury townhouse, he pulled up his phone. He searched up Kelsey’s name and realized just how long it had been since they last spoke - 6 years. It had been far too long.

With a deep breath, Darius gained just enough courage to text, “Hey. Long time, no see.” He hit send and immediately regretted his haste. He followed up with another message, “My folks told me we’re living in the same town again. I’d love to catch up.”

Darius tossed his phone on his bed and turned to clean up in the bathroom but was stopped by a faint buzz. He picked it up off the bed and noticed she’d gotten back.

K: Hey you! So crazy… I’ve been thinking about you recently. Must be a mind link haha how about this Saturday? Your treat? hehe

He laughed, happy to see that Kelsey was still her goofy self.

D: Or have you possibly been stalking me and you’re ready for the killing blow. Maybe Saturday is a trap!

K: I can’t rule it out as a possibility, but I double pinky swear I’ll consider not stabbing you. Fair?

D: More than fair.

They continued chatting the rest of the night, eventually deciding on a local Italian spot for dinner. Darius arrived that night far more nervous than he anticipated. “It’s just a friend's dinner, dude. Relax!” He yelled at himself in his head. They agreed on grabbing drinks near the park they used to play soccer at on weekends in Jr. High.

Darius dressed to impress, or at least enough to show some maturity without being stuffy. He decided to walk to the little pub, soaking in the night air and watching the sun dip behind the pine trees lining the horizon. These were the moments he’d missed. All that was around him was the cold dewey air, the signing bugs, and the warming glow from windows of the homes dotting the block.

He could hear the hustle and bustle of the bar as he approached. He could feel that tension release as he approached. “Why was he nervous?”, he thought. “Just breathe.” He slipped past the crowd and grabbed a beer before sitting on the patio. The night air was biting but he was bundled up under a heater. Darius was toasty as he checked his phone before a set of strong hands wrapped around his eyes.

“Guess who? If you’re wrong, buy me a drink…”

“Hmmmm…” Darius played along. “Michelle Obama?”

“Ooof, so close.” Kelsey released her hand as Darius turned to hug her. He froze.

While he’d matured and grown into himself compared to the version of Darius that Kelsey knew, she’d also done some growing of her own. Some… rather extreme growth. He forgot just how tall she was, but it seems that athletes' metabolism didn’t keep up with her.

His eyes started at her thicker legs, each almost as wide as both his thighs put together. Her thighs bowed out to a wide set of hips, almost too wide for the chairs available on the patio. Gone was the six pack and now Kelsey sported a hearty round gut that stood out over a foot from the rest of her torso. Every movement she made sent her belly into a jello-y shimmy, almost hypnotizing for Darius. His eyes continued up to the main event - her chest. She didn’t shy away from her… developments.

She wore a thicker jacket that hung open to reveal her tight tank top, her gut and tits nearly hanging out of it. Her cleavage was immense and it felt like it wanted to swallow Darius whole, it was so deep. In high school, Darius’ pecs were a bigger cup size than Kelsey’s, but now - she looked like she’d put honeydew melons to shame. Hell, maybe even something bigger. If he had to guess, she must be a J-cup…

Kelsey cleared her throat and Darius’ eyes shot up to a playful glare. “Can I help you, sir?”

“I-I’ll go get you a drink. Beer?” He asked while scrambling away. He entered the crowded bar and made a b-line to the counter when it dawned on him that he hadn’t heard her order. He felt his phone buzz. It was Kelsey.

“Would you be so kind as to get this young woman a beer, por favor? A larger glass, please and spank you.” That cute catch phrase she always threw around willy-nilly now hit differently for Darius. He ordered her a drink in a pitcher sized glass, mainly because he wanted to make up for his staring. With two hands, he carefully carried the overfilled jug outside and saw Kelsey pulling over another chair. Darius was right to assume her generous ass was too much for one flimsy chair to handle.

“Wow! You really felt bad for looking at my boobs, didn’t you?” She laughed, taking her beverage with one hand and setting it on the table with a bang.

“She’s still stronger than me,” Darius thought.

“Look at you all dressed up. Someone has really made it and isn’t afraid to flaunt it,” Kelsy’s eyes traced up and down Darius attire. He was in his floral dress shirt, with a thin black tire to accentuate his fit, lean physique. His tailored pants ran down to tan dress shoes, bringing together this earthly, nature-inspired look that showed that he cared about his performance.

“So much for not looking stuff,” he thought to himself. “Hey, I just care about my appearance a little bit more than when I was 18.”

“Don’t want locals thinking you didn’t make it?” She snarked behind her monstrous beer stein.

Darius smirked, feeling the gravity of her bulging belly and breasts pulling his eyes down to ogle them. “Oh, you mean the hicks?”

“Yes, the hayseeds. The bumpkins. The hillbillies.”

“Let’s call them what they are: backwoods swamp folk.”

“I think you’re being too kind. I proudly identify as Swamp folk,” Kelsey gave her signature wink as her plump lips cupped the glass. Darius gazed at her throat as it gulped down an immense amount of beer.

“Unfortunately, I’ll always be swampy. No escape for me,” Darius reached over and clinked her stein.

“Oh, I remember movie nights at your place. You seemed allergic to washing your socks or wearing clean clothes.”

“Hey!” Darius gasped, exaggerating his manufactured outrage. “I was a clean boy who evolved into a very clean man.”

“True, true. You’re too clean for this town or for folks like me who call it home.” This sounded like a joke, but there was a hint of sadness behind her words.

“Please, Kels. You’re an allstar. I’m the one too lame to be talking to you.”

“I’d have to agree with you.” She giggled. “Wow. It hasn’t been 5 minutes and we’re already razzing each other. Hope your skin didn’t get thinner while you were away.” Kelsely leaned her elbows on the table, her biceps pressing all her tit flesh together and digging into her round gut. Darius didn’t need to look down to see just how impressive her cleavage was now. He fought the urge and won.

“I can’t lie, I missed this. Nobody I’ve met can dish it out the way you can. You should teach a masterclass on the subject.”

“I wonder if that’d pay more than my current gig. If you can set me up, I’ll split the profits with you. How’s 90/10 sound? Overly fair, if you ask me.”

“Hm, I was thinking 95/5. I live lavishly and I have to maintain that lifestyle.” God, this felt great for both of them. It wasn’t just the warmth from the heater, the chemistry between them was warming them both. “What does Kels do for a living in this town? Running it, I assume. As the queen of the swamp creatures, perhaps?”

“So close, little man.” That old jab was one Kelsey had to earn the confidence to say. The bullying about her height in school had her hating her body, but Darius was able to help her by taking on that nickname with pride. Dairus was fairly certain that little name-calling helped break her out of her shell. “I’m a realtor. I know, but please - hold your applause.”

Darius covered his mouth in shock. “Oh goodness, I didn’t think I was sitting with a local celebrity?” Kelsey laughed at this, her belly jiggling and the chairs groaning under the heavy moving weight they were holding. “Do you have your face on a bus stop and all that?”

“Yes, yes - I’m lucky enough to have my face in a place where teenagers draw dicks on my mouth. It really helps with getting my name out there.”

“These are the kinda perks you never hear about,” said Darius as a waiter approached.

“Will you two be dining with us tonight?”

“Oh god, yes! I’m famished. Could we get a basket of fries for the table and could I get two double cheese burgers and another order of fries? Thanks, babe!” Kelsey didn’t stop to breathe to get her order out. Darius was taken aback by her large order.

“I’ll get a burger as well. Can I grab another beer, also?”

“Yes! Good idea. Me too.” Kelsey proceeded to down the rest of the huge stein and slamming it down on the table. Darius could have sworn that her belly grew a bit, or at least her top was riding up, exposing more of her belly.

The two chatted some more until the food arrived a few minutes later. The waiter returned with the two drinks, needing assistance from another waiter to handle Kelsey’s enormous refill. To their surprise and Darius’, she’d already polished off an entire burger and order of fries and was starting on her next. “If you wouldn’t mind, I think I’m going to need another one of these,” she motioned to the second burger and fries she was digging into.

“Right away, ma’am.” The waiter scurried away while Dairus struggled not to stare. Not a drop of sauce or crumb landed on her cleavage or belly - all went into that hungry maw.

“I know, I know,” Kelsey rolled her eyes between bites. “I’m a big girl, Darius. I used to be ashamed of it but I can’t handle the pressure to keep the perfect figure.” It sounded like she wanted to be confident, but there was that sadness again.

“I really don’t mind, Kelsey,” Darius looked her in the eyes to assure her that he was being truthful.

“Yeah, yeah - all guys say that until they do mind. Too bad thought, you’re my friend and you’re stuck with me,” she leaned back to take a break after finishing her second burger. Her hand ran across her full belly which again, Darius was sure was bigger than before. Her navel was almost exposed from her growth.

“People don’t grow that fast… do they?” Darius asked himself as the third order of a burger and fries appeared on the table. The waiter did away with the two empty plates as Kelsey patted her gut. The fat wiggled and jiggled, sending waves that ricocheted off each other.

Something stirred inside Darius. He was intrigued by her size and overall growth. Was it just curiosity or was it lust? He wasn’t sure, but the night was young. He raised his refilled beer toward Kelsey, who put her burger down to grab her stein and hoist it in the air. “To reconnecting with my best friend.”

She smiled, a shimmer in her eye melted Darius’ heart. “To friends… and fries.” They both giggled and drank. If only they knew what was in store for them next - and just how big Kelsey was going to grow.
