DESCRIPTION

The fog coated the bathroom mirror, condensation dripping down in delicate spires. The shower curtain rings screech as they slide across their support bar as Aurora exits the shower. With a twirl and a flip, her thick black hair was wrapped up in a towel atop her head. She reached for her stack of freshly laundered towels sitting in the light of the frosted window. She dried off her back, and then a single towel for each of her massive breasts.

She swiped her hand at the mirror to reveal her brown eyes. They were earthy - like coffee beans or a sequoia. While she may not love herself, others could see something buried beneath. Something - someone - who was stronger than she imagined.

While Aurora wasn’t a fan of her eye color, they soon flicked down to her two most hated attributes. It was much easier for her stomach when she was able to smash them down with her military-grade minimizer bras. Cup size wasn’t something she considered for quite a few years - she only thought of them in demeaning comparisons. Barrels, yoga balls, car tires - she shook her head, trying to toss the thoughts away.

She looked herself in those creamy brown eyes, took a deep breath, and said her affirmations. “This body is not a burden. I love my body. I deserve love.” She repeated them a few times, hoping one day they would mean anything. A part of her hoped that the date with Dylan in a few hours would help her.

Her phone buzzed on the countertop. It was Dylan.

D: Hey! Are you a red or white girlie?

A: Depends on whether I’ve put on sunscreen.

D: You’re not that pale!

A: You haven’t seen me at the beach. Those poor souls were blinded, with no warning.

D: 🤣🤣🤣

A: I’m glad you find my suffering amusing.

D: 😈

A: I wouldn’t say no to a Cab Sav.

D: Great choice! Any dietary restrictions?

Aurora held back, not wanting to reveal anything too embarrassing too soon.

A: Um… not that I can think of…

D: Great! I’m actually going to get there a little early, but I’ll text you the address. See you soon!

She smiled. A warmth in her heart surprised her - she hadn’t been excited like this in … well, she couldn’t remember. The dates she’d been on in her past were… underwhelming.

She dried herself off, one breast at a time, and went to work curling her hair. A never-ending battle with her chronically straight locks, but she still wanted to try something special for today. A bit of eyeliner, a bit of blush, and a healthy amount of deodorant under her breasts to help with the inevitable sweat from eating outside - and she was ready.

Aurora nabbed her newest purchase - a blue sundress with a laced-tied front. She’d tried it on before, and unfortunately, it didn’t hide her size at all. She slipped one minimizer bra off her head and carefully slipped one edge over one breast, and then another.

It was like trying to put a fitted sheet on a king-size bed; one side would always slip up. With enough wrestling, they were covered, and onto the next bra. This one was slightly easier with her chest contained. One more for good measure - she’s learned from experience - and then the dress.

The dress fit draped over her hips and thighs - more like a poncho than a cute summer outfit. With a belt, she was able to show off her hourglass figure and not look like a trash bag. However, the seams around her breasts were tight. Not tearing, but they were stressed. The bit of laces covering her chest were meant to be pulled tight to hide her cleavage, or released for a more risque look. No amount of pulling on these laces would hide Aurora. She did her best, but was still showing off more skin than she’d like. With a deep breath, she reminded herself that she wanted to show off a bit for Dylan.

“I almost crushed him with these things. I can at least let him take a little peek,” the thought surprised Aurora. It wasn’t the norm for her self-doubt to let her think these thoughts. She’d repress any sexual thought, especially when it came to her chest. Again, she shook it off, repeated her mantras, and took a deep breath.

She collected her things, called herself a ride, and grabbed her gift from the counter before taking off.

~~~
Aurora rolled her eyes as she exited the backseat, each tit needing to pop free from the car door audibly. The metal frame of the vehicle sighed in relief when she finally got out, and she was glad. She normally gets a bigger car, but the only one available was a Prius. The driver also couldn’t stop ogling her in the mirror, even turning on the in-car dash cam as they were driving. She held her hand over her chest and looked out the window the entire drive, avoiding his stares and questions about her dating status.
Clicking 1-star on the review of the driver, she made her way through the parking lot. Dylan had sent the location, but no details. Aurora squinted behind her sunglasses, looking for him. All she saw in return were men and women staring at her. She dropped her head and headed under a tree. She pulled out her phone while she centered herself. She wasn’t going to let a few looy-loos ruin her day.
A: Hey! Where are you?! Where should I go?!
No response.
A: Helloooo?
Radio silence.
Now the anxiety set in. She’s been ghosted before, but … this was different. Dylan was different. She did her breathing, her affirmations, and made herself wait. Minutes went by, and she felt herself spiraling. After 15 minutes and no sight of him and no answer, she gave it one final go.
A: Hey, I think I’m going to head out. I hope everything is ok.
She started looking up another ride when a call came in. A wave of relief fell over her. She answered, “You sure know how to keep a girl waiting-”
“Hey! Sorry!” Dylan was panting. “I had to - I’ll just explain when I see you. You’re in the lot, still?”
“Yes, but are you okay?!”
“I am now, no worries. Head straight across the park until you hit the tree line. I’ll meet you there,” Dylan hung up. Aurora was concerned and moved faster than she preferred to the trees. She was very exposed as she crossed the lawn, feeling eyes burrowing into her as her assets fought to tear free from her multiple levels of bra-security. The weight would knock over a weaker woman, but she’s blessed with the back and leg strength to maintain balance.
She couldn’t help the sweat, and the sun was no help. Once she hit the first pine tree, she needed to catch her breath. If she hadn’t been panting so hard, she might have heard Dylan approach.
“Hey, thanks for being patient-” BOOM! Aurora turned and slammed her melons straight into his chest, sending him flying onto the field.
“Oh Jesus Christ! Twice?!” Aurora ran over to his side and lifted him to keep him elevated. “You can’t be sneaking up on people like that!”
“Well,” Dylan squeaked out. “I thought you could - hear me.”
“Dylan, babe, honey. I’m so fucking sorry.” A tear came to her eye as she gripped his shoulder. His chest was pressed firmly under hers as she held him. The warmth was soothing for Dylan, and the touch was… something Aurora didn’t know she’d missed this much.
“It’s okay, Aurora,” he smiled. “Help me up, and after today, if you don’t want to run away from me, we’ll go by a bell for me to wear around you.”
She snickered and sniffled, wiping her eyes. “Deal.” She helped him up and brushed off his back. His pressed white button-up was covered in grass stains. “I really wrecked your fabulous look.”
Dylan had been sporting black slacks, dress shoes, a black tie, and a crisp white button-up shirt. His hair, she assumed, was perfectly styled before he took a tumble. Aurora did her best to straighten him out, but he gently grabbed her arms. “It’s really okay. I promise.”
Aurora leaned forward and kissed his cheek. “Hopefully that will make you feel a little better.” The moment their chests touched made both of their hearts flutter.
“I think it did. Let’s get something to eat.” Aurora nodded and followed him through the woods.
“I know you might be mad about what just happened, but you’re not planning on killing me, right?” Aurora joked to break the awkward tension she was feeling.
“I promise, it’s just a date. Now, if you had other plans, please give me a heads up if you wanted to off me,” Dylan winked. “You’ve almost done it twice,” he laughed.
“Hey!” She smiled as she gave him a playful punch. “Don’t make me use these things again!”
“I would never. I would like to still walk after this date,” Dylan took a swing at a joke about her chest, and Aurora seemed receptive.
They entered a clearing and Aurora gasped, covering her mouth. “Dylan… what is all this?”
It was one of the park's gazebos that had been recently renovated. Normally, they’re just wooden structures where parkgoers can rest or parties can rent them out. This man did a bit more than that. He’d brought a small round table and cushioned, reinforced metal chairs. There were ornate place settings and a spread of different finger foods - cheeses, cucumber sandwiches, dried apricots. It was the perfect charcuterie spread. To top it off, a bottle of wine was chilling in an ice box, sweating in the afternoon heat.
“Why? How? Dylan… this is too much…” Aurora trailed off, not knowing what to say.
“I know, I know. My love language is … doing too much.” She couldn’t help but stare at his big goofy smile, but then she noticed the bandage on his arm under his sleeve.
“Dylan! Is this from last night?” She grabbed his arm and pulled his sleeve down. There were bandages wrapped up his forearm, and they looked fresh.
“No, no. I got the red wine, but when I saw your text that you were here, I dropped it and sliced my arm when I tried to clean up. Thankfully, I had a backup Rosé. I hope the lady will enjoy.”
“Do we need to get you a helmet and elbow pads? Maybe a Kevlar shirt?” Aurora offered up another kiss, now carefully on Dylan’s arm.
“Not a bad idea. Enough about me and my poor, abused body. May I get you a drink?” He stepped up onto the platform and opened the bottle of wine. Aurora tested the steps, making sure her… impressive size wouldn’t cause a cave-in. Seemed secure enough, so she joined Dylan and took a seat. He quickly ran behind her to pull her chair out, which she thanked, but she knew what was coming next.
Dylan valiantly tried to push her chair in, but her heavy bust wasn’t going to allow it. A few grunts and a very red face, Aurora reached back and touched his hand. “I appreciate it, really. All of this. I can scoot myself in. How about you sit and rest?” Aurora slid her chair in, her mammaries jiggling and threatening to tear free from all this physical activity. She grabbed the bottle that Dylan had opened and poured him a glass. “You drink first. I wanna make sure you weren’t sneaking and trying to poison me.”
“Clever girl,” Dylan swirled his glass and took a sniff. His face turned into a snooty caricature. “Mmm yes… You can really smell the… grapes.”
“A sommelier, too?” Aurora giggled. “What can’t you do?” She poured herself a glass and sniffed.
“Dodge?” He answered, rubbing his chest. She flashed him a glare and a smile, and they both sipped.
“Funny guy, and he has good taste in cheap wine. That’s a winning combo.”
“I usually find the best vintages are the ones on sale at my gas station,” Dylan snapped a grape off a bunch and popped it in his mouth.
“Oh, you must take me there. I’d love to see their selection,” Aurora tried her best Transatlantic accent. It was… rough, but endearing.
Dylan held out his glass. “Happily, madame. Now, let’s eat.” They clinked glasses, and they both looked into each other’s eyes as they sipped. Aurora felt something stir inside her. Like this was more than … just a date.
