“You are pissed, I can smell your scent.”
It took every power within you not to roll your eyes, and/or shout at your alpha. This was like the fifth time he accused you of being mad. But not just angry- angry at him specifically.
And you barely got dressed.
“No Sukuna.” You repeated once again, “I am not mad at you, in fact-“ You pause to mount your horse,”-I’m not even angry. You must be getting confused by my scent.” You finished adjusting your new purple dress. You didn’t want to point out that his own insecurities were making him smell you wrong. Were you thinking about Choso? Yes, but his situation made you more sad than angry. But in the grand scheme of things, it was just another ingredient added to your pot of stress. Right now you are worried about EVERYTHING. You look toward your alpha who was now on his horse. Before he could spew whatever nonsense was brewing in his noggin you say, “I’m worried about what is to come. Like Nanami and his weird thing going on…and I dunno your brother being some sort of evil creature. Like does that not worry you?”
“Hm.” Sukuna scoffed snapping the reins on his horse, setting off on your ride. The steeds galloped much quicker this time, the movement making it a bit harder to speak smoothly. Sukuna shouted over the heavy hooves, “I knew the bastard was a freak- and Nanami will be fine-.” He trailed off as if realizing something, but you didn’t catch on thinking the ride had his words choppy.
“Did you just call your brother a bastard freak? Honestly- do you really believe him to be a creature or does your hate blind you?”
“Who cares about him, I just thought of the barrier that Nanami used before. The chains and the spell could be connected.”
“I care about Yuji-“
“Well, stop that. We are talking about Nanami. Your alpha remember-“ this little b- “-Think about it-what are chains used for?”
“Chains?” You weren’t sure if this was a trick question. You answer with a bit of uncertainty, “Well… they can be used to hold something…or secure it…”
“Yes, and Nanami has them all around his flesh as if it were a part of him. Invisible to the naked eye. Those chains could be concealing his other energy. These are two things that just don’t seem coincidental.”
“Perhaps, but why? Ah- do you smell that?” You pulled on your reins, making your horse stop while Sukuna halted his steed a bit late. His horse neighed and shook its head in irritation.
“What?” Sukuna patted Killer, his small gesture of apology.
You sniffed a few times and frowned. You were used to this smell but it never smelled like this. “It smells like burnt coffee…” You clicked your heels on your horse making her surge forward into the fog. Sukuna close behind.
When you got closer to the scent you found yourself at the library. The same one you hid in the first time you visited this city…and got chased by Sukuna…
“It’s Nanami.” Sukuna covered his nose annoyed by the smell, “He smells bad.”
“Yeah… I’m gonna go talk to him… this might have something to do with what we were just talking about.” You were about to get off your horse but Sukuna reached over and stopped you, his eyes still looking at the library as if he could see Nanami through the walls.
“He smells bad as in you probably shouldn’t go in there.”
“That doesn’t make any sense…why would I not go comfort him?”
“Like you comforted me?” Sukuna questioned looking toward you with a raised brow.
You frowned, “Oh, it’s that kind of bad…”
“I can smell the alcohol from here. I doubt he’d want you to see him in this state.” Sukuna pulled the reins of your horse but you took them away.
“No way I’m leaving him like this Sukuna. I’m your omega, I have the tools to calm any of you down.”
“Again. This isn’t a situation that you want to put yourself into unless you want to get into an argument with your damn daddy.”
“Well- I doubt he’d refuse a kiss from me…” You jumped off your horse and set your glare on Sukuna. “… It might be just the thing to help him. Some of my alphas actually love my kisses.”
Sukuna released a low growl- it seemed like it was a bit too soon for the jokes. “Go on then- but don’t you dare say I didn’t warn you.”
“Thank you for the warning Sukuna…but I’m not scared of any of you…”
His red eyes moved away, “Handle him then, I’ll make sure those idiots are prepared.”
You nodded as he began to leave.
He was going without much of a goodbye.
So you shouted, “Ya mad at me?!”
“No!”
“You sureee?!”
“DON’T GET SMART!”
You released a laugh enjoying your relationship returning to its usual banter. It felt good.
You made amends with one alpha and now you have to handle another.
You were oh so busy.
“Let’s do this…” You whisper, making your way into the library.
It was vacant as far as you could see, but you followed your nose. All the way to a secluded dark room. That’s where you found your blonde. He was looking for a book, but by the pile on the table, he had been looking through these books for a while. Searching for something he couldn’t find the answer to. You spotted a cup that had a drop of alcohol left in it, a bottle sitting by it, waiting to be poured. You could also see a pipe resting upon the table, curls of smoke drifting away.
The Husho grata mix?
Sukuna wasn’t lying when he said your alpha was in a bad state. You didn’t realize how much this was going to affect him. You almost felt like you were at fault for allowing Nanami to fall so far. Feeling as though you should have taken his feelings much more seriously.
Now he was a mess…
It was like you were walking into the storm that was Nanami Kento. It made your heart thump so rapidly. Made you sweat. Made you tremble.
You could feel his mixed emotions, feel it attack your very body as if it were its own emotions.
Anger-frustration-confusion-sadness-fear- all balled up in one. It creates this overall pressure making you dizzy. Like you were feeling them all at once.
Breathe- you had to comfort your alpha, not add to his stress.
“Na-Nnami?” You called to him, stepping into the room with as much confidence as you could muster.
Your blonde turned with a growl, his eyes looking deadly as if you were an enemy- but then he blinked surprised, “Little bird? Is it time for us to journey into the witch's realm?” It was like he hadn’t even noticed he bared his fangs at you.
“Um…well…” You were stumped for words, shocked to see your usually perfectly cleaned alpha look so frazzled and tired. So out of whack. The fact that he even reacted so aggressively at square one should have had you running and screaming ‘Sukuna you were right’. But of course you didn’t do that…because why would you admit Sukuna was right? And of course you needed to help your dadager…
…You pushed closer, his chaotic atmosphere was stronger at its source-he was the beacon. You swallowed carefully, glancing at the books on the table, “…I actually just got back in town, are the preparations ready?” You questioned, reading the title covers. There was a variety of them, from history books to curses, monsters, and diseases. It appeared he was just looking through everything trying to find a drop of information.
“Yes, I have-“ Nanami walked toward you with a book in hand but then stopped talking, shaking his head, “I-I finished my tasks but I…no…I should have made sure Gojo and Getou did theirs…fuck.” His words and face twisted back and forth, it was the wildest sight of bipolarism.
You were hit with another wave of burnt coffee, this time it had quite a dampness to it. Whereas Sukuna heats the atmosphere- Gojo makes it cold…Nanami seems to make the environment humid. Your comfy coffee shop has turned into a stinky sweat shop where the baristas left the coffee pot on too long, there’s trash along with spills everywhere, moldy pastries, and the fucking AC isn’t working.
You quickly stepped forward while gesturing out the door as you spoke, “It’s okay! Sukuna just went to make sure we are ready to go, I’m sure he will yell at them if they didn’t do as asked.” You spoke so fast you were speaking in cursive.
You barely got to him before he contradicted your statement. “And then- they will get into a damn argument- and nothing will be done- and it will just unfold into an even worse fucking mess that I will need to clean.” Nanami pinched his nose. “Fuck-I’ll put these books away swiftly, my apologies.” He moved past you in a frantic state. Throwing the books together with a loud slam.
“Ah-“
Books fell off along with his glass- it shattered onto the floor making you yelp.
“Dammit!” Nanami snarled making you duck into yourself upon reflex.
Your omega side was not handling this very well- and maybe your human mind also wasn’t. It was hard to say… You were trembling and your joints seemed to lock up. Your hands upon your head as if you were defending yourself…and a small whimper tickled your throat all on its own.
You could hear panic in Nanami’s voice, “No-Sweeetheart- I Am I-I didn’t mean to I-I’m sorry- I just…” He stepped toward you crunching on glass the sound made you cringe. He saw the way your body twitched and quickly stepped back. “…Go…please… I’m not… I…I’ll be there in just a minute…” He knelt to the ground, moving much slower now, afraid to spook you any more than he had. “…Let me just…get my shit together….”
After the initial shock was gone you were able to move and breathe again.
You weren’t afraid- NO REALLY! You doubted Nanami would harm you in any way. Unfortunately…your body was reacting in such a way, like it were afraid to be targeted in his whirlwind. As if he’d hurt you by accident because he was so frustrated. That’s what Sukuna seemed to believe and maybe Nanami felt that way too. It would explain why he was trying to shoo you away from him. You understood what was happening. Nanami wasn’t in his right state of mind. He was a storm that your omega instincts were telling you to leave so you didn’t get swept away and hurt.
You had to fight that urge to run.
You wanted to.
As their prime omega, you were their greatest medicine.
If you could handle the fire that was Sukuna…wait…you uh…didn’t really handle that well…BUT- that was just because he didn’t give you a kiss for all your hard work!-NEEDLESS TO SAY- you think you can handle Nanami.
The only problem was, you weren’t sure how to deal with him.
In the very hentai game when the alphas get stressed you’d use the power of thy holy box. But for Nanami, those situations were very surface-level. Those scenes were like- ‘Oh Gojo pissed Nanami off let me give him a blowie real quickie’- If you had to label it from one to ten, Nanami never went passed a three. THIS right now was like an eight. He never cracked like this. In fact, you don’t think he ever cracked.
He handled most of his issues in secret.
In the quiet...
By himself…
But now he was here in front of you, having an existential crisis.
You had no idea how to tread this territory.
But you weren’t going to run away from him…not from your alpha.
Were you scared?
If you were being honest…the answer would be yes...Everything in you wanted to leave and let him cool off on his own- but that was not your ninja way.
You moved closer to where Nanami was cleaning up the books, his blonde hair covering his face as he moved back and forth.
“Don’t.” He held out his hand stopping you. “There’s glass everywhere I don’t want you to get hurt…Go… I got this just go- go get ready with the others. Or go speak with your friends. You haven’t seen them in a while…”
You had pulled your hand back as he spoke, his initial shout had spooked you once again, but this time you didn’t lock up in fear. He was trying to push you away, but you didn’t think that’s what he needed from you. He was being so stubborn right now. But a part of you wondered if you should listen to his wishes…. No. No you don’t want to.
“It’s alright Nanami…I don’t mind helping, really.” You urged picking up a book. “Ai-“ You gasped as your blonde pulled you up and over his shoulder in one fluid motion.
He made quick strides out of the room as he spoke, “Now- is not the time for you to be a stubborn girl.”
“Wha-“ One moment you were in the library and the next you were being placed outside. You couldn’t believe how FAST he moved to toss you out! “Nanami!” You put a hand to the door before he closed it.
He grit his teeth as if it were hurting him to be in your presence, “I know -I know what you are doing. I do not need you to help me-I’m fine.”
You could smell him- smell that it was a lie. He was not fine.
“You aren’t fine!” You say as you duck in but he catches you with a grip within the crook of your arm.
“Get out!” He shouted. “Your alpha commands it!”
You gasped, taken aback for a brief second but you didn’t let your omega instincts lock you up again. Didn’t let the overwhelming emotion consume you this time. It took everything in you to deny yourself from running out that door and listening to your alpha. All of it bubbled inside of you and you shouted as if casting it all away- “NO!” You snatched your arm from him running back to the room as you shout, “I will stay!”
You barely crossed the doorway before the wind was knocked out of you. You were pushed and slammed against the table, causing the rest of the books to flutter off. The wine bottle spun around on its rim, you stared at it with wide eyes as you felt Nanami growl against your neck. You could feel the hairs stand. You could feel fear swirl around your stomach in tandem with the wine that was about to topple over.
He was going to bite you on your scent gland.
A harsh punishment for omegas when they deny their alphas. It’s not the mating kind of bite. Not the kinky kind either.
He was going to tear at your flesh until it bled profusely. Just enough to cause you excruciating pain without killing you.
Your pulse was beating fast- his mouth opened and his teeth chattered in anticipation. You could feel the saliva drip upon you… feel his teeth scratching your skin. His canine was sharp. So sharp it poked at you like a needle.
The bottle finally fell- spilling on the table- Nanami reared back with a fierce growl before he swooped in for the kill.
You released a horrifying scream, “NANAMI NO!”
You felt blood spill upon your neck and face. Soak you as the Grata soaked your dress.
You were screaming-screaming as high as your lungs could.
But you realized there was no pain.
How was there so much blood but no pain?
You looked back to see that Nanami had bitten into his own hand. Blood painted his teeth and filled his mouth, dripping down his arm and chin.
His face was scrunched up in a grimace, his lips quivering while his teeth dug into his flesh.
He was still hovering over you, pinning you against the table with his hips. His other hand was planted on your side.
You blinked a few times, “Nanami…you…” It took you a moment to realize what he had done. You were still very much in a state of shock. You felt like your life flashed before your eyes. And a stupid taunting voice saying ‘I told you so.’
Nanami pulled his hand just far enough from his mouth so he could speak, “Go…” his eyes finally opened and you could see he was disgusted with himself and his actions…and what he was about to do to you. “…Please…you shouldn’t see me like this…it’s despicable.”
You slowly gulped, maybe he was right. Maybe this was a bit too much for you to handle. You hated that though. Hated feeling like you were giving up on him…
“O…okay…” You whispered, throat a bit scratchy from your pitiful scream just a moment ago. You hadn’t moved yet and neither had Nanami.
The two of you sat in the same position, breathing deeply and staring at each other. It felt like you were the prey and Nanami was the predator. His eyes moved over you in a kind of slow and steady franticness.
Like he wanted to eat you but he was holding back from doing so.
Every little movement caught his eye, and the way he breathed was so meticulous.
It was odd to see.
Someone so collected and so unhinged all at once.
You slowly crawled your fingers over and slid away from him. A rumble would come from his chest and you’d have to stop until it simmered. Did he want you to leave or did he want you to stay? Once you were no longer squished against the table you cautiously stood upright. You caught yourself in the reflection of a glass cabinet. You looked like Carrie on prom night with blood and wine all over you.
Nanami kept his stance, now staring at the table where you used to be. His hand was still dripping with blood. You wanted to heal him… to comfort him…but you feel like all you did was cause more trouble.
You wanted to ask him if he was upset with you but you knew that was silly. You wanted to speak with him but you were afraid. All of these emotions mixed with the fully charged environment were affecting you greatly. You wanted to cry from how overwhelming it all was. You felt embarrassed because you got yourself into this situation just as Sukuna said and you didn’t listen to either of your alphas.
You should have just left him all alone…
But there was something that kept you here.
This feeling of need that you couldn’t describe. You thought it was your need for Nanami but you believe it was his. It was like something in him was screaming for you. A piece of him that wanted and needed you.
You didn’t know how to describe it but you just felt it. You felt like you couldn’t leave. Such an idea was not applicable. It was like your soul was being gripped by his.
Begging you to stay…
But his words were so contradictory…
“I…I will leave you be…I’m sorry for intruding…”
“…” Nanami didn’t make a sound. He only gave you a silent nod.
“All I ask… is that you kiss me goodbye…” It took a moment for him to register what you had requested.
He looked toward you with furrowed brows, “You want me to kiss you?”
“Yes, kiss me and I will leave…I need to know… that you still love me…”
“Still? How could I ever stop?” He sounded so wounded.
But you stayed with your request, “Then could you grace me with a kiss?”
His face expressed so many different emotions, before he shook his head, “I don’t think I should…”
“Sooo you don’t love me?”
Nanami let out a frustrated growl, “That’s not what I said!”
“Then kiss me. You told Sukuna that it was improper as an alpha to allow me to drop to such a mental state. And I’m not saying that I’m gonna go crazy but I’m feeling a little froggy right now… if you kiss me… then I will know… everything is fine… it will calm me down…I just need you to reassure me that… you are fine… we are fine…”
“Don’t you see? I’m not fine.”
“So let me help you!” You push stepping toward him. He leaned back to his full height, as if trying to escape you. “Nanami…let me help you be fine. I will do anything to help you-just don’t push me away… please…don’t tell me to leave when you need me the most…” A sniffle tickled your chest, but you finished strong, keeping your teary eyes steady.
Nanami looked upon you with a conflicting gaze “…If it will make you feel better…I will kiss you…then you should leave me.”
You nodded, “Okay…” You finalized the deal awaiting him to do as he said he would.
It felt like time had stopped, the two of you frozen forever.
But Nanami finally moved, his limbs tight as he raised his hands.
You kept your eyes on his dark gaze. You could see in your peripheral vision how his hands hesitated right before touching you.
“Okay…” Nanami murmured, “…Just a kiss…” The way he spoke seemed like he was talking more to himself than to you.
“Just a kiss…” You repeated for him.
He inched forward, closing the gap between the two of you.
You had to look up at him, it was the only movement you allowed for your body. You wanted him to kiss you. To close the distance.
His hands smoothed over your messy cheek, one side painted with blood as the other with wine.
Your eyes fluttered closed once he shifted his lips toward your own. You waited patiently for the connection the feel of his soft lips. Once you finally felt it… it was gentle…a soft touch… so soft you weren’t even sure if he was really kissing you or just touching his lips to yours. For a second you thought he was going to pull back and say ‘there’.
But he didn’t.
Soon he started really kissing you. His lips pressed into you, and a sort of heat sparked between you.
You released a moan, as did he.
The way he attacked your mouth was needy. It was sloppy…with absolute zero control. It was like he couldn’t decide what he wanted from you. What he needed from you.
He was grabbing you closer, arm wrapped around your waist as he slid his tongue into your mouth. You could taste his coppery blood that had a touch of creamer to it.
If you weren’t busy making out with your blonde you would be appalled at how good his blood tasted.
You were afraid your kiss was going to end soon.
He will push you away once he gets a hold of his stubbornness again.
You didn't want this to end.
You reach your hand down, sliding it over the growing tent. You dig your nails into the fabric so you can squeeze his cock.
Nanami let out a hiss, gritting his teeth- and then you were up in the air. He lifted you off your feet and spun you around dropping you on the table. Your hands fell backward onto the wet wood as you tried to keep yourself from tumbling over.
He snatched himself from you- panting as he hung his head, his hands gripping the side of the table.
You breathed unsteadily, chest rising and falling. “…Thank you… for the kiss alpha…“ your breath shook a bit as you spoke, “…I guess I can leave now…”
You were about to hop off the table but then Nanami looked up at you with a glare.
“It’s a bit too late for that.”

Chef Note: This week has been so busy for me so sorry I hope I didn’t leave you starving for too long. 🖤
I hope some Nanami Smuté will fill you up 😚
Nanami and Reader are in their Bridgerton era. 🤣. I wrote most of the chapter before I realized how their conversation sounded so close to Charlotte and George’s conversation haha. (No I haven’t watched any seasons past the first one so sorry XD) . So when Nanami shouts get out I was like haha that sounds like bridgerton and went to go watch the full scene and was like huh actually this whole conversation between the two kind of feels like it lol 😂. So most of the parallels were coincidences except the get out part lmao.
Nanami: GET OUT! I ORDER YOU! 😡
Reader: No no Nanami. ☝️🙂↔️
Nanami: Y/n- 😠
Reader: You cannot force me away I will not go. 😒
Nanami: I command it! Go!😤👉
Reader: I will stay! I command it! 👇😡
