“This one’s mine!” Gojo shouted as he flipped and landed on a shadow creature. Stepping on its head, he pointed and blasted. The monster lurched with a screech before withering away into flecks of black ashes.

“That the last one?” Toji questioned with his sword resting on his shoulder.

You looked out the window, staring at the red moon that still loomed in the sky. “No…there must be more.” Pointing you explain, “The moon hasn’t returned to normal, when it does, that means we got all of them.”

Gojo groaned, “We have gone through this whooole castle.”

Sukuna sniffed the air, “But I can still smell some of its residue, she’s right- we aren’t done yet.”

Well duh, you are always right.

“They must be hiding in the shadows.” Getou summoned his wolf spirits, “Fetch me their souls.” The dogs yipped before running off in different directions leaving a ghostly trail behind them.

You clicked your tongue, “Ok, I know this is such a scary movie 101- but I think we should split up to get the rest of them. If they are running away from us then we will never get them like this.”

Gojo looked around, “I can’t see any from here, so I doubt they are bigger than a rat. Why not leave them?”

“Absolutely not mister. If the witches return whatever monsters are left will grow from their curse energy and we will be back at square one. So find those rats and exterminate them. That is an order.”

“Yes ma’am…” Gojo sighed, surprisingly not giving you any attitude.

“Be careful though...”

Getou laughed mockingly, “Ha- If any of you die to these slugs, I will be properly disappointed.”

“Don't say that.” You chide.

Sukuna snorted, “No he makes a valid point. I agree.“

“Oh my Tengen…” You looked toward Nanami who hadn't put in his dadager input. He was looking down the hall, trapped with a fixated gaze. “Nanami what do you think?”

“I'll search the library.”

Ah, you should have seen that coming.

“Alright.” You took out the worm and split up the potions, “Take these, and if you find a shadow creature that is bigger than a rat do not engage! We fight any big ones together.”

“Are you kidding…” Sukuna looked baffled. “We can handle a little meat on the bones, do not disrespect your alphas.”

“I was exaggerating a bit Sukuna, but you know what I mean. Like a really big one.”

Toji coughed into his fist, “Maybe I should go with you.”

Gojo shooed at the alpha as if he were a pest, “No Toji the quicker we do this the faster we can get out of here. You’re hungry, I’m hungry we are all hungry.”

“You’re hungry?” Funny enough hunger has never been a Gojo problem. That was a Toji issue.

“I doubt he’s hungry for food.” Getou murmured but you barely heard him giving him a raised brow.

Toji’s whine took your attention away before you could ask Getou what he said.

“What’s wrong my alpha? Do you not like my plan?”

“No it’s not that…how about I go with you, so I can be in the same wing -“ he then looked at the others saying, “-just in case I need to get to her quickly!”

“I didn’t even say anything.” Sukuna nodded toward Gojo, “He did.”

“I’m the fastest here, I could get to her from the opposite side of the castle before you could, even with you being on the same side.”

Toji furrowed his brows, “And? That just means extra protection, even more of a reason for me to stay close just in case.”

You rubbed the alpha's arm gently, “We can go in the same direction Toji, but we still need to split up a little bit to cover more ground.”

“If we circle the halls we can all meet at the front entrance and scout most of the castle.” Getou explained. “And any little creature will be trapped between us.”

“Yes, but we keep looking until that red moon returns to normal, so if we meet and it’s still not right we have to do it again. Does that sound good?” You looked around as everyone nodded.

“Good…let’s get this over with.”

Toji hissed, “Or should we take a break? We haven’t even stepped out of the portal once.”

“No Toji tatake tatake!”

You let out a little chuckle at Gojo’s comment, “We are doing really well, Toji, you have nothing to worry about. I think these potions will be enough to finish off the rest. I’m really proud of you guys. Like this has been quite the fight, but I’m happy I had you guys with me.”

Sukuna looked away quickly, “Don’t suck my dick yet we aren’t finished.”

“I was not-“

“Let’s go Gojo you come with me this way.” Sukuna dragged the alpha along.

“Aw, you need big and bad Gojo to protect you?”

“No idiot, find the monsters for me so I can kill them.”

“I’ll go with Nanami this way.” Getou nodded toward the blonde, “Shall we?”

“Yes, I would like to-“

“Stop by the library yes yes yes I know what you want to do.”

Toji gestured for you, “Baby?”

You smiled while walking with your alpha. “We will have to split up sooner or later Fushiguro.”

“I know…but now the guys are gone, so I could stay with you- just say the word.“

“Nope. I’m a strong woman, Toji. You don’t have to worry about me.”

Your alpha sighed, “Yes you are, but I don’t play about my girl. I almost stopped your little punishment…until I saw how much you were enjoying it.”

“Oh-“ Your face heated up, but instead of letting the shyness fog your mind you slap it out of the way and say- “-From what was said earlier, it sounded like someone else was enjoying it too.” You fix your features to steel your guard- smiling while Toji instantly blushed. YEAH- Take that, take that-

I was...” He breathed, you could see the way his lashes fluttered as he looked up ahead.

It was something with the way he said it.

Something that had your heart stuttering.

You were here to fight- not here to play- but you could not stop your teasing words from slipping from your tongue. Stepping closer to him, you say, “So…what part of the show did you like the most?”

Your alpha halted at your question, stopping mid-step, almost making you bump into him. He had turned his face away from you, but you knew his hand was over it. He released a little groan, “Come on sweetheart- you cannot ask me that right now.” He almost sounded upset with you!

You were just asking a simple little question! (You knew what you were doing let’s be honest.)

Looking outside, you could still see that the moon hasn’t returned to normal. You wanted to do some more teasing, but now was not the time. So you move ahead of your alpha, keeping your eyes peeled. “Alpha, just a simple question, and I have discombobulated you on the battleground?” You wag your finger back and forth, “tsk tsk tsk~.”

Your shoulder was grabbed, and you let out a squeak as your back hit a hard chest.

Toji’s eyes were narrowed as he said, “I never tried to fight and fuck at the same time, but I will if you push it.”

“Sorry Sorry~ .” You pat his cheek, “I didn’t mean to get you riled up. We do have work to do.”

We do. So ask that question again when we are done.”

“I will.” Kissing your alpha on the cheek was just the right amount of apology Toji needed to release you and keep your hunt going. You truly didn’t feel threatened at all. As snippy as his tone was, your only consequence would be a good pounding that you were more than willing to serve the time for your crime. It was just the time… as in right now, here on a mission.

You had monsters to slay and a home to save.

Now was not the time for some hanky panky. But after? The question shall be revisited. Because you did want to know what part of your punishment he liked the most. And you couldn’t stop thinking about Toji destroying any toy in his moment of lust…while watching you with Nanami. The whole thing made you sweat. But! You had a mission!

You must stay focused!

“Hey…” Toji said, making you stop.

“What’s up?” You questioned, looking around to see what he had spotted.

He reached over to a picture on the wall. “I smell them…here-“ With just one shift of the crooked picture frame, shadow creatures slithered along the wall and fell to the ground.

“Shit-“

You caught some with your light energy, but others scattered away in all directions.

“I got these- get the rest of them!” You shouted, running after the stragglers.

“Don’t go too far!” Toji’s voice echoed within the halls.

You were going full speed, light energy at the ready. Unfortunately, you could not use Shadow Step. The creatures would latch onto your curse energy like a tick and suck all of it dry. So running was your only option here. It was time to put your Tigress beach training episode to the test!

Smite!” You threw your hand forward, calling upon the light to cut down upon the monsters. You caught two of them, leaving just one more left.

The last one zipped around a corner- you slid upon the carpet and dashed after it.

Smite!” You tried again, but you missed by just a hair! Dammit, why were these things running now! It made it so much easier when they would just come at you! You watched in irritation as the shadow slipped under a wooden door. You slam against it, trying to push it open but it was locked.

“Get back here, you little shit-“ you grit your teeth, stepping back so you can observe the door.

Pushing your foot against it, the wood groaned. It didn’t seem that strong, so you reared back and kicked as hard as you could over and over again until the fifth kick sent the door flying. Wooden pieces crackled down the stone steps that led into darkness. You gulped seeing the spooky void of nothing.

Clicking your tongue, you backpedal, “I have seen too many scary movies for this…” Backing away from the stairs leading to possible hell, you heard…

“Star Hero.”

You jolted at the haunting voice that just spoke to you- it was deep and sounded scratchy like that of a demon. You could barely process what you heard before you were gone.

“No no no-NICE TRY DEMON!”

~

You were panting, with your hands upon your knees. Having run like a bat out of hell. You were now leaning against the wall. You hadn't even a clue where you were going. Your mind was spooked, so your omega spirit went into flight mode. Dammit, you could have run toward Toji!

Sweetheart?” Getou came to you, his hands upon your shoulders, “What's wrong? Are you hurt?” He questioned with worry.

“I- wooo…no no-I just ran, I got scared!”

“By?”

“Some-something!” You were still trying to catch your breath, unable to further explain, but Getou was getting more worried now.

“Where the hell is Toji? How did you get all the way in the North wing?”

“Ah, no Toji- this wasn't his fault- I opened up this door, and it went down into like a secret room or something, and a fucking demon started talking to me! And then I just-“ you clap your hands together, making a motion to describe how you shot off like the flash.

“Demon? What did it say?”

“Uh…I think like… Tar…Zero?”

Tar zero?”

“Or guitar hero, I don’t know, just come with me, please.”

Getou snapped his fingers, his spirits leaping out of the rooms they were in. “Show me.” He grabbed your hand, making you feel rather protected and a tad bit silly. You couldn’t believe you got scared like that, even after you practically told Toji you were a strong woman. However, that was before the scary demon voice started talking to you.

You walked with Getou and his wolves, leading them back to the locked door you had found.

“Is Nanami okay?” You questioned.

“I suspect he will be in the library for the rest of the time. I told him I had the area handled. My spirits can cover quite the distance.”

“Is that why you went with him? You knew he’d like to go there?”

“Perhaps I was trying to be nice.”

“That was very nice.” You nod, giving him an approving smile.

“…” Getou looked toward you, but you had noticed he didn’t have much of an expression. He was in his hard-to-read mode. He was thinking of something.

“What?”

“I heard. What the two of you spoke about.”

“Oh, the bad apple book?”

He pulled you a bit closer before murmuring, “About the game.”

You hesitated, now understanding what he was referring to. The topic of your death. “You were listening to our pillow talk…” You say, trying to lighten the situation.

“Not many pillows were around. Why hadn’t you told us?”

“Is it really a big deal…?”

“Do you really have to ask?”

You sigh deeply, “I don’t want to make this into another argument. Please, just let me get through this shit first.”

“I’m not upset with you. I was just wondering why you kept that information hidden.”

“I wasn’t hiding it!” You hissed. “It was just-“ you huff, gesturing to the door. “-We are here. I didn’t hide it on purpose, I promise.”

Getou stopped before the door, sending his dogs ahead. “Go.” His wolves sniffed and jogged down the stairs. They disappeared while the two of you stayed close. He watched the doorway, speaking softly, “Again, I’m not upset with you. I wanted to make sure there wasn’t another reason.”

“Like what?”

“Like you didn’t trust us.”

“What? That’s ridiculous, Getou. I trust you and all my alphas. That situation was-“ You got really close whispering, “…you know how sensitive Sukuna can be- I didn’t want to bring up something like that if I knew it wouldn’t happen. Especially with how he reacted when I asked him to…you know.”

“…Well…” Getou began, “… You don’t know that.”

“Know what?”

“If it will never happen.”

“I-He-he never- why would you think he would…”

“I’m not saying that because he’d want to. I’m saying it as if it were fate. You said the game was about choices…so was there ever a path where that scene doesn’t play out?”

“No…It…it always happens…”

Getou nodded, “I have messages that come back and forth to me, and one of them that I keep up with is that woman…Miwa. I watch over her constantly to see if her fate will change or if the time has just changed.”

The thought made your chest grow tight. “…You think…we might be locked in place…”

“Along with the witches…Yuta…every person we have saved.” Getou’s gaze was blank as he stared at nothing, but you knew how much this was tearing him up. The colder his expression, the deeper his pain.

“…Wait…but I never told you…about my character…why have you been watching them?”

“You didn’t, but I thought it would be a good indicator for whether or not what we do matters. I did it at first out of personal curiosity…but now…” he breathed deeply. “…There’s even more of a reason…to make sure… so we can change your future…”

“Getou…” You looked down, unsure of what to say. “…I never thought of it that way…I was too afraid to…” The thought of Sukuna killing you had never been a recurring thought. After you had been chosen- after everything you had been through with him… even when you asked him to kill Raven- it never seemed ironic to you. You had erased that part of the game from your mind. Afraid to think that nothing mattered, and you would still die. Perhaps not by Sukuna… but maybe by someone else… or something else…like Final Destination.

“I’m sorry.” Getou rubbed your back, bringing you out of your thoughts. “I didn’t mean to upset you.”

“No…” You blinked swiftly, realizing your scent had a sort of stench to it. “…I…You just made me see how…ignorant I’ve been with…my future…”

“Is that why it scares you to talk about being a dam…are you afraid you won’t make it…”

“…That…or I just…leave…”

His hand stopped moving, freezing in place. “That place again-“

“If.” You say sternly. “If…we find out that nothing matters…and those people start dying…I…I don’t want…”

You could feel your mind beginning to spiral; you tried desperately to hold on to your thoughts. Yet you couldn’t help the dooming idea that what you were doing didn’t matter.

None of this mattered.

You could save your alphas- beat the villain…that happens in the story…but what about you?

Has death already marked you?

“I shouldn’t have said anything…” Getou pulled you close to him, “I never meant to hurt you.”

You knew he didn’t want anything to happen to you, but perhaps this was out of anyone’s hands.

“Have you spoken to anyone else about your thoughts?”

“No…just you…”

“Please keep me updated. I don’t want you harboring this…to yourself. As daunting as it is... The only thing keeping me sane right now is Miwa. She was the first person I saved, and in the game, no matter what, she dies just like Raven… So…if she is still alive then…I believe that’s a good indicator that I might be safe…for now.”

“I will beg Tengen himself to keep you here with me. You are stuck with me. And you will carry my pups. I am quite stubborn when it comes to things I want.”

“I know, you spoiled alpha.”

The two of you shared a sweet kiss, settling the grueling conversation for now.

He placed his forehead against yours, his hand sliding upon your hip,“You must spoil me some more since I have done such a good job here.” He grinned.

“Yes~ I know all my alphas deserve some pampering.” You couldn’t believe how horny they could be every second.

Hentai game.

The wolves came running back up the steps, panting in excitement. Circling Getou as they wagged their tails.

“All clear?” He questioned while petting them.

A few of them let out a bark while the others howled in success.

“Does that mean it’s clear?”

“That’s what they are saying…there’s nothing down there. Maybe you should have taken a break.”

You pout, “Alright, I was not hearing things I promise I heard something.”

“Not saying you are lying, I’m just-“

“Summoner.”

That had Getou freezing.

You snap your fingers repeatedly, “Oi! Oi! Oi! You heard it too?!”

“Hm.” Getou nodded, “So you haven’t gone crazy.”

“Rude.” Getou descended the stairs, but you stopped him with a gasp- “What are you doing?”

Your diva gave you a raised brow, “It’s not anything to be afraid of. It’s a Shikigami.”

“Huh?” You step after your alpha, holding up a light for you both to see. “…How is this one talking to us?”

“I can hear them, but what is utmost interesting is that you can hear this one.”

“That’s right…Usually, you are the only one to hear it… are you sure we shouldn’t be afraid?”

“No, unless we release it, we should be fine.”

“Should?”

“Should.”

Should we wait for the others-“

“I’ll protect you, sweetheart, hush~.”

You continued deeper into the dark, finding the leveled stone ground. Once you touched down, the sides of the walls began to light up with blue flames. It was an octagon-shaped room, where statues all around stood. A mix of men and women witches who all had books and staves. Their attention was pointed toward the middle of the room, where there was a marble platform, and upon it a stone book.

Getou threw some powder around, making sure there were no security set in place. “Interesting. Not a trap in sight.” The alpha moved forward cautiously.

“None? Maybe it’s not a good book…that sucks since this room definitely gives good treasure vibes though.”

“I think the book itself is the security.” Your alpha poked at the book; the entire thing was made of stone.

“Interesting.”

You could hear the voice much louder now.

“Who are you?”

“What would be so interesting? The stone you are trapped in?” Getou didn’t seem at all fazed, so it did calm your nerves a lot.

“Mahoraga. It’s been a very long time... Since I’ve met worthy opponents.”

“Mahoraga? Never even heard of that name.” Getou tried to pick up the book, but it didn’t even move an inch- “Ugh- what the hell? I can’t even move your book!”

“Your attitude…reminds me of my last master…”

“Who was your last master?” You questioned.

“…A…powerful omega witch…very long ago. Cannot remember her name...”

Getou rolled his eyes, “Hello? Can you give us any helpful information? How do I pick you up?”

“…Tired…too much talking…”

“Are you serious?!” Getou huffed as the voice faded. “What a piece of junk. Let’s leave it.”

“Why not wait till the others get here?” You questioned your alpha, who was still very much struggling despite saying to leave it.

Getou looked shocked, “It’s not that I’m precious and fragile- this book is just- it weighs heavier than a boulder!”

“I mean…I have never seen you pick up a boulder…I think this was a bad comparison.”

Getou threw his hands off the book, “You try! This shit won’t even budge! How am I supposed to use it- Who is carrying this shit?”

“If you can’t move it, I doubt I can; my strength is pretty low...” You tried to push the book, but it moved. “Oh, haha, this is light.” You pick it up with ease.

“No way-“

You hold the book with one hand, looking toward your alpha with a snort, “Very funny Suguru.”

Your alpha looked almost mortified- either he needed an Oscar, or he was absolutely serious.

“No! I literally couldn’t pick up that book!” He slid his hand under, pressing up to try to take it from you, but you felt like he wasn’t even trying.

“Here-“

“DONT DROP IT YOU WILL CRUSH ME!” He zipped his hands away before you could even give it to him.

“I think it’s just you.” You laughed.

“I would not play around like this, I swear it’s like you are dropping this very castle into my hands.”

“I’m going to ask the others.” You turned on your heel, with the book to your chest.

“What?!” Getou chased after you while sprouting on, “You don’t believe me? Why would I lie when I’d like to use the stupid thing!”

“Beats me…maybe you are a little more fragile than you believe…or maybe I’m just Queen Arthur here.” You got to the top of the stairs and gasped. “Hey! The moon is back!” You explained excitedly.

“They must have finished up while we were down there.”

“Finally! I can’t believe we did it! Everyone is going to be so happy- and maybe G. Ma will be in a good mood and let us adopt the pups because of this!”

“Do you think she will also let us take this book?” Your alpha hummed.

You smack the cover, “Huh, we did just kind of steal this…maybe she’s too weak to pick it up.”

Getou fumed, “There has to be a spell on that book- there’s no- TOJI! TOJI! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!”

You looked up to find Toji rushing your way.

“Baby you okay? I had to finish up with the shadow creatures, but I saw Getou was with you- what happened-“

“She’s fine! Now take this book from her.”

“Sur…uh I can carry it for you.”

“Getou says-“

“Sh sh!” Getou hushed you and then slapped Toji’s muscles, “I want you to pick up that book, take it from her hands.”

“Okay? Are you two up to something naughty?”

“No- no! Here take the book.”

You passed the book over to Toji and just when you thought he had it- IT FELL AND TORPEDOED THROUGH THE FLOORING.

You heard a woman’s high-pitched scream, making you freak out.

“Are you okay?!” You shouted, looking through the hole, only to see Gojo in Sukuna’s arms like a princess.

“Who’s scared now jackass?” Sukuna dropped Gojo upon the floor, making the white haired alpha growl.

“I wasn’t scared- I was just practicing my horror story scream!”

You frown, realizing the commotion you had caused, “Hey guys- sorry about that-“

“What the fuck is up with that book?” Toji questioned.

“I told you it’s not just me!” Getou shouted, then he snapped at Sukuna, “Sukuna, you pick up that book, and I’ll give you all my allowance for the rest of the year!”

Sukuna looked toward the book, “After that shit almost crushed my skull in? Do I look like an idiot?”

“You don’t want me to answer that- Gojo!”

“Hell yeah-“ Gojo jumped up, but then Getou said-

“If you can’t pick it up I get your allowance!”

“Hell yeah!” Gojo still went for the book with just as much confidence as the first hell yeah.

“NO GOJO DON’T DO IT!” You shouted.

“What-“

Getou shouted like he just objected to your evidence in the court, “AHAH THEN ADMIT YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN PICK IT UP!”

“I GUESS I MIGHT BE!”
