DESCRIPTION

“I’m so disappointed in you two.” You speak as you follow Momo.

Sukuna and Gojo trudging along.

“I don’t know why.” Gojo snorted.

You could feel your blood boiling. What would have happened if you hadn’t heard their conversation? What would have happened if Momo hadn’t been stubborn and done what your jealous alphas asked of her? They knew what they were doing; they weren’t stupid!

“You do know why! You two were trying to get Choso killed! I have told you time and time again that he can help us!”

“Who is he?” Momo questions.

You simmered your tone as much as you could, “Someone we met along the way.” You were a bit surprised that she didn’t know of the situation. Perhaps Yuta didn’t tell everyone what had happened between him and the beta. That’s good because the witches would probably try to kill him.

Gojo clicked his tongue, “Are we forgetting he is the one who almost killed Yuta?”

Sukuna added, “Yes, and if it weren’t for us, he’d have succeeded.”

Momo’s brows furrowed as she stopped before the cellar door. “What?”

Why! Why would they say that!?

You grit your teeth, digging your nails into your palm. You were about to explode, but first you had to explain to Momo... “Wait! He was the one who had attacked Yuta, but he had been tricked into thinking he was the enemy.”

Her worried expression softened a bit, “Oh-“

“-Pfft, we have no reason to believe he isn’t the enemy himself.” Sukuna cut in, then he looked at Momo speaking with a mocking tone, “As you may know, our omega has a soft spot for pathetic creatures, that’s why I told you to get rid of him before she found out.”

“Stop that!” You shouted at Sukuna.

“We don’t need him anymore.” Sukuna dismissed. “He has already told us what he knew. His usefulness has expired.”

He was pissing you off so much that your body felt like it was fighting a fever. You had to fight the urge to hit him, “I’m sure there was more! You interrupted us!”

“For good reason!” Sukuna shouted.

Momo's eyes darted around nervously, Sukuna’s punishing scent trying to control all that was around him.

You looked toward Momo, forcing a small smile, “Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I’ll handle it from here.”

Your beta nodded nervously, “Um…let me know if you need anything else.” She quietly backed away, not wanting to be a part of whatever was going on.

Once she was gone, Gojo released a bored yawn, “I’m sure any of us would have reacted the same way if we were there. Even Nanami. I mean, that half-baked alpha did put his hands on you.”

Your face fixed into an angry scowl, lips curling. You could feel the fire in your throat. This time you didn’t swallow it down. “Don’t. Call. Him. That.”

Gojo raised a brow at your attitude while Sukuna chuckled mockingly, "You see how she gets so defensive over him?" He asked, looking at Gojo. “Flashing her teeth at us.”

"Yeah, it's pissing me off. Maybe I should use my free ticket to fuck her in front of him, too?" Gojo smirked. “It worked so well with you.”

“I think this is the first time I've agreed with you.” Sukuna chuckled as the two erupted into malicious laughter.

You moved- hand reaching out in a blur of dark mist. You grabbed Gojo by his neck and slammed him against the wall. "Shut up!" You growled.

"Ngh-" Gojo's eyes went wide as he let out a grunt.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Sukuna snarled, grabbing your hair, yanking your head back.

Hand still around Gojo’s neck, you snarl right back, "I'm your omega, I know my position, but you two are being bad alphas! What happens when an alpha isn't behaving, huh? Enlighten me, what should I do to deal with such shitty attitudes?!"

"Deal with us?! You don’t deal with us!”

"Oh, so you are all perfect? Alphas can’t do anything wrong?” You no longer felt a tug to your hair, your body misting into your shadow form.

Sukuna watched as your hair slipped past his fingers. Frustration fixed his features. “We -aren’t in -the wrong -here!” He tried to grab your arm, your neck, your waist, but each time, his claws whipped by, only catching purple-black mist.

“You didn’t answer my question. What do I do when you are? Shall I punish you as you do me?” You hold up your hand as a purple whip twists and forms into your grip. You snapped your wrist, making the whip crack. “Huh?”

Sukuna didn’t answer the question; his annoyance was now directed at Gojo. “Are you going to let her act like this?”

“Maybe you can tell me, Satoru? What do I do with bad alphas?” You narrow your eyes at your white-haired alpha, squeezing his neck for emphasis.

He let out a long groan, his eyes not pinched in pain…his lip bite not in anger…his red face...

That’s when you and Sukuna realized the obvious hard on your alpha had.

“Are you fucking serious?” Sukuna growled.

“S-sorry-“ Gojo licked his lips as he tried to steel his nerve, “Y-you don’t run this pa-mmm~.” Gojo groaned in delight as you pressed the handle of your whip to his cock.

“I don’t what?”

“Oh fuck-I-“ his hips moved forward as the machochist groaned. “We fucked up-“

“We?!”

“Down.” You released Gojo, allowing him to slide to the ground. “Say it again.”

“We fucked up-“ he gasped, looking up at you like he was drunk off of whatever the fuck his masochist kink was drinking.

You looked toward Sukuna with a winning smirk.

The alpha scoffed, crossing his arms. “I didn’t do anything wrong.”

“At least one alpha is acting better.” You leave the two of them, without another word.

Sukuna glared at Gojo, “You fucking punk.”

“Dude, I don’t know what happened.”

~

Descending the stairs, you had time to cool off.

You walked past all the empty cells, looking for Choso. It had appeared they didn’t use the first cell that you were in the night the witches were attacked.

Choso’s cell was a few down.

You found him sitting on the chained wall bench, feet propped up with his arms wrapped around his knees. He was looking at the small window in the corner before he turned his gaze to you.

“Raven…” he said your name in monotone.

Before, when he saw you, his eyes would light up. And his voice would get a bit higher in delight…

None of that was present this time…

“Hey Choso…” You offered him a sad smile. “…What happened?”

“When you come in here…in this realm…I can’t sense you anymore…I just got worried…”

“I would have come out eventually…”

“I would rather be safe than sorry…are they…treating you alright?”

“Are they treating me alright?” You let out a snort, “Choso, you are the one locked up! Stop worrying about me!” Even after the situation with Sukuna, he could still hold so much care for you. “I’ll talk to G.Ma about having you released…it might take a bit of time… she’s quite stubborn…but I’m sure I can get you free…”

“Don’t…I was nervous saying that I knew you, but they had smelt your scent…I don’t want this to cause you any issues.”

“Choso…” So he wasn’t even going to tell them he knew you. He only did so you wouldn’t get into trouble. Everything this beta does just makes you so sad. “…There will be no issues, I promise. The witches are cautious with new people, but they have their reasons…”

“They were the ones who started the holy war; what happened to them was brought upon themselves.”

You frown, “I know the priests blame the witches for starting it, but there may be more to the story that we are not aware of.”

Choso slowly got up, walking toward you. He got close enough to the bars so he wasn’t touching them. His voice low, “No, there is more to the story that you aren’t aware of…they massacred the angels’ pups…and they are the reason the angels can no longer visit our world. They destroyed all the portals.”

“What?” You questioned getting closer to him, “Your dad told you that?”

“I know you probably don’t believe me, but…just be careful with them…they can be tricking you…”

“Who told you this?”

The beta kept his lips closed, not saying a word.

“Okay, your father told you, huh?”

“He might have…”

“Why didn’t you tell me this before?”

“Because you don’t believe anything my father says. You think he is the villain. He’s not. They are.”

“I don’t…I don’t know…” If Kenjaku succeeded in killing the witches in the game, then where the hell were the angels? Nowhere did he express that his mission was to bring them back. “…So let’s say your father is telling the truth…these portals…how do you go about fixing them after the witches are gone…?”

“There’s this book… that I’ve been looking for… It’s a magical book that is created with dark and light. If I can find it, we can use it to rebuild the portals.”

“Dark and light…book…” You pondered on his words. “…I think Yuta had commented on this. When we were in the catacombs.”

“I know…that’s why I had to stop him. They want to use it to revive an evil entity called The Thing.”

Your face scrunched up, “The Thing? What is that?”

“A dark creature that terrorized the world. The angels were able to get rid of it, but now the witches wish to resurrect it, and if that happens…we might as well say our goodbyes…”

You blinked a few times, “I think…I think there is a mix of information here…Yuta wants to use the book to save his wife…”

“That’s what he claims. But we know better.”

There was a noise that caught your attention. Choso looked, his lips pressing tightly together as he awaited someone to approach, but no one did. It was just the walls creaking.

His voice dropped even lower, “You must be careful, Raven…They may seem kind for now, but once you get your memories back, we should leave. The only reason you are still alive is that they need you. Possibly to wield the book."

You didn’t know what to say; his words made you rethink every conversation you had with the witches. Again, nothing he was saying seemed to connect with what you knew of the people. But could this all be true? G.Ma and Yuta were evil beings trying to get you to help them resurrect a demon?

Could Kenjaku not be the true villain behind all of this?

Is this Thing- pulling the strings? Is it connected to the evil entitity G.Ma was talking about?

“…This gives me a lot to think about…I really...wish you had told me this sooner…”

“When? When your pack was in shambles or when your alpha took you in front of me to make a point?”

You choked on your words,” Choso… I’m so sorry…about Sukuna…that shouldn’t have- he was just…”

Choso looked away, “He’s right.” His voice was quiet.

“What? No, that was terrible…he reacted in anger, he didn’t like that you thought he would hurt me…that’s the only thing I can say… he’s not going to hurt me…and I do love him. He’s a good alpha when he’s not being an asshole. And…I should have been more upfront about the whole thing… If I had we wouldn’t have been in this…situation…I’m sorry it turned out so…cruel…”

“You don’t have to explain anything to me…if I were your alpha, I’d do the same. I just hope you are right about him…”

“Choso, he wouldn’t hurt me…” You kept your tone even, “…I don’t think Sukuna was the one who attacked Raven…your father…I think he’s lying…he might be lying about the Thing and the witches too.”

“It wasn’t him that told me, Raven. It was you. You were afraid of Sukuna killing you. You would wake up screaming and crying…because of him."

“…I think…” You swallowed nervously, wondering if you should tell Choso everything. During your pause, Choso shook his head, going back to the bench.

“I will do anything to protect you, Raven. Anything necessary. It is my sole purpose in life. All I want to do is give you a happy life, and if that isn’t with me, then so be it. You lost your memories and therefore lost the trauma…and forever reason that alpha doesn’t want to admit what he had done.”

“I…” You tried to speak again, but you were having an internal battle. Should you tell him where you were from and tell him about the game? Maybe that’s why Raven was afraid of Sukuna. If she-or you…had your mind fucked up- you must have been afraid that Sukuna would tear you apart like in the game. If you did tell Choso that, would he believe you? You wanted to trust him, but at the same time, you weren’t sure how such delicate information would be handled. Choso will do anything for you, even if he believes he’s protecting you. That could be a double-edged sword. Especially since he thinks his father is the hero in this story.

Which...you weren't even sure anymore.

“…Maybe he feels guilty about it…I don’t know. But if he truly loves you, he’d take this like an alpha and stop pretending.”

“…Sukuna does love me…”

“…”

The atmosphere got quiet. Your words hang in the air. The two of you were trying to convince one another about the truth. You believe that if you could tell him the whole story, maybe then he would understand. But you were scared to share that information with anyone else besides your alphas.

“We will… speak more when I get you released…” You bowed your head politely and calmly dismissed yourself. As you walked away, you could have sworn you heard Choso say…

“I do too…”

You couldn’t handle all of this right now. You felt like you were being torn back and forth. You were starting to question what was real and what was not. You hurried up the stairs, feeling exhausted, even though you just woken up. You just wanted to relax-

“Hey, Raven.”

You squeaked as Yuta greeted you.

You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn't even realize he was in your path. “Hi!” You chirped much too loudly.

“You okay?” Yuta questioned with worried brows.

“Fine! Totally fine!” You smiled big. No way he would fall for that- nice going, Pinocchio!

“Oh, that’s good,"-guess he did- "I need to talk to you…If that’s alright.” Yuta looked a bit sad, but perhaps that was due to his already tired expression.

“Um…yeah sure…” You followed the alpha. The whole time you were thinking about what Choso said about the witches. That they were the ones to be afraid of. You just didn’t feel they had an evil bone in their bodies. Not Yuta nor your betas. G. Ma, you don’t really know her well, but you felt she was slowly opening up to you. She was stubborn and annoying, but evil?

“We thank you for saving our home…” Yuta speaks as he opens a door.

You walked in behind him, finding it to be a guest room. One that had no scent. Well, you weren’t expecting him to take you to his den. If he did, your alphas would have lost their shit even if Yuta was a nice alpha.

“It was no problem, I already have another favor for you.” You let out a little laugh as Yuta sat at the mini table. You could see Rika in his shadow. For some reason, it made you a little nervous. If Yuta wanted to kill you, he could wipe you out in a flash.

“Is it about the beta?”

“It is, you must have heard from Momo.”

“Nope. Sukuna was yelling at Nanami about it.”

“Oh goodness…” You sigh, sitting in the chair across from him. “Did he wake him up?”

“He did.”

“I’m going to… I'll deal with him later, anyway…could you help me explain to G.Ma Choso is no threat?” At least you hoped he wasn’t a threat to them. He wouldn’t hurt the pups because you scented them; maybe he could see how much you cared for your friends. And how kind they actually were.

“Sure, I can do that.“

You gave him two thumbs up, “Perfect. Now, about why you wanted to talk about. It’s nothing bad, is it?”

“No…” Yuta slowly shook his head, “…I just felt bad…I know how to get your memories back…”

You blinked in shock, “Y-you do? Did you find the spell to help you?”

“No…G.Ma had already shown me how to do it…it wasn’t hard… but she told me to wait…”

“She-she told you to wait? When did you know how to do it? Why did she tell you to wait?”

“I knew when you had arrived…I had lied to your alpha about it because G.Ma thought if I had helped you…you wouldn’t have helped us…”

You roll your eyes, feeling a bit angry. Today just seemed to keep pissing you off. “Really? So she used us?”

“No- well- she wasn’t sure if you’d hurt us after you got what you wanted…especially with the whole Yuji thing...”

“Yuji is still a prisoner, so why did she decide now was a good time to tell me the truth?”

“…” Yuta fidgeted nervously.

“OMT…She didn’t…she wanted you to keep this a secret…”

“I know you must be angry with her, but please understand, she is only trying to protect our family the best way she knows how. I don’t agree with it…and I trust you, so that’s why I am telling you…”

You breathed deeply, “Why would she- after all I have done! I wouldn’t just abandon you all! I had already planned to help you guys with your home! What-“ you hiss, resting your elbow on the table, head dropping into your hand. “…Whatever… I'm just done- so you can help me?”

“Yes…I can…Just don’t tell G.Ma…and maybe not your alphas…they are very protective of you, and I don’t want them to attack her…”

Well, if any of them were listening, he’s out of luck.

“My alphas won’t let you look in my mind without them. I need to tell them.”

“…I suppose you are right…I just don’t wish to start anything…” Yuta looked a bit pained by your response.

Maybe he was hoping you would keep this a secret.

“If you help me, I think they can keep it a secret from G. Ma. All they care about is getting my memories back.”

“I noticed, you have a very good heart. I would have hated to see what kind of alphas they’d be if you didn’t.” Yuta smiled as you laughed awkwardly. At least someone realizes you're using your powers for good. “Would you like to get started now?”

“G-get started now?” Your eyes widened.

“Yeah, I know the longer we wait, the harder it’s going to be.”

“Oh- uh… let me talk to my alphas first…I’m…I’m not ready yet.”

Yuta nodded in understanding, “Of course. I’ll let you talk to them, and I will talk to G.Ma about releasing the beta. But there is one thing. If he tries to hurt my family, I will kill him.”

“…” You hesitated for a moment, not sure if Choso would be so stupid as to try something like that. “…He won’t...” You say those words, but you were still nervous about the beta. He sees them as the enemy. Maybe you will need to keep 24-hour surveillance on him. On second thought, maybe you should wait till you leave to release him. You get up to leave, but you furrow your brows. “Yuta…what are you going to use that book for…the one that could create miracles?”

The alpha smiled softly, “You know this…it’s for Rika…” his eyes moved to the shadow where the omega resided.

You could see in his eyes, the way he looked… There was no way he was lying to you, right? He just seemed too genuine! “…And G.Ma…what does she want it for?”

“Hm?” Yuta looked at you, confused, “She’s not looking for it, I am.”

See? G.Ma doesn’t even want the book!

Or he could be saying that…

“I’m going to go talk to my alphas…thank you for telling me the truth…”

“No…you have no reason to thank me. I should have never lied.” The way he looked at you… He appeared so remorseful…

You hated this. Hated feeling that this could all be a lie.

~

You found Nanami, Getou, and Toji within the library. Nanami and Getou were busy reconstructing books while Toji… your poor alpha was fast asleep, his mouth seemed to be shut with a magical tape. He was probably snoring much too loudly for the library.

“Hello, my alphas.” You greeted them softly, trying not disturb the other witches who were hard at work.

“Hello, darling.” Suguru looked at you with a little grin, “I heard you were being quite the brat.”

“Me?” You scoff, sitting beside him. “No, I wasn’t Sukuna, and Gojo tried to get Choso killed. Can you believe them?”

Nanami looked up from his book, “I’m truly not surprised. You know they despise that beta.”

“Do... you guys?” You questioned, searching for honesty.

“Anyone who would die for you is someone I am willing to be cordial with.” Nanami stated as he flipped to the next page. “So, no, I don’t despise him as much as the others.”

“Sweetheart, the beta has alpha traits; if he didn’t, then this wouldn’t be such an issue for them.”

“For them…” you pointed out. “…not for you guys?”

“I wouldn’t say he doesn’t make me want to rip his throat open, but I am willing to try to accept him for you. If that is what my darling desires.”

You sat back with a sigh, "I guess that's two out of five...what do you think Toji would say?"

Nanami glanced at the sleeping alpha next to him, "You would have to speak to him yourself. No matter what the answer is...introducing that beta into our pack is going to be very tricky..."

"I-I didn't say anything about bringing him into our pack." You stammer a bit.

Getou rolled his eyes, "Honey, this whole conversation is enough evidence. And the way you threatened to punish your alphas?"

"Well, they still didn't tell me how to discipline them if they are bad..." You mutter with a huff.

"That's typically not a thing." Nanami stated.

"But I'm sure you will find your own way of doing so." Getou joked as your alphas released a little chuckle.

"Typically... so what are the repercussions for a bad alpha, hm?" The humour died down instantly. You looked at your alphas, confused by their hesitation. "What?"

"If...an alpha is not fitting for the omega...they find another alpha of higher ranking to punish the alpha..." Nanami let you know. "So you would get one of us to do it."

You gasped, "Oh no- I wouldn't do anything like that. That's...not the direction I was going." You sat back with a sigh, "Perhaps I will go with your idea, Getou, I gotta get creative..."

Your alpha smiled, "I thought as much."

"When the other two calm down, and Toji wakes up...I do need to call for a pack meeting..." You say, bringing out your book of songs.

"Is it something we need to deal with now?" Nanami questioned.

"No...not like right this instance...but just as soon as we can... preferably before today ends. I'd like to practice this song...the pups want me to sing with them...it's like a ritual for their dead...I have to memorize it in three nights." You say activating your eyes so you could see the words.

"A song?" Nanami seemed interested now. "Perhaps I could help you practice. I would love to hear you sing."

"Oh-" You blinked up as Getou agreed.

"That would be lovely. Would you sing for us, little bird?"

"I-I dunno guys...what if I sound bad...at least if it's with the others my voice can be drowned out... You guys have too much work to do, besides...this is a song about death...I don't want to be disrespectful in any way..."

"Then we will have to get you to sing another song for us."

"We will see about that." You snorted at your alpha, getting back to the task at hand.

You had quite a lot to discuss, but you couldn't forget to learn the song of death.

Despite what Choso had told you, no matter if he was right or wrong... You felt you had to participate in the funeral. Not for the other witches but for the girls... This was important to them.

Chef Note: Warning- political rant incoming-FOR THE LOVE OF TENGEN IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY ABOUT POLITICS DO NOT READ! It will not hurt my feelings if you skip this! Thanks 😊🖤

I truly don't know what to say about this country...as some of you may know, I live in the...USA...the things that are happening are just horrible. I have cried so much. I just don't understand how there can be so much evil in the world. I don't understand how, as kids, we learn to treat others how we would want to be treated, and then grow up to see the world filled with monsters.

I am just so sick and tired and angry and in constant disbelief. I just don't understand how anyone can agree with what is happening. We learned Nazi's were bad, but now we are dealing with them. Why are the people in power so corrupt? Why can't we just live peacefully? Why can't we just leave people alone and work for a better place for everyone? Why are simple morals so hard to find?v Why do I feel childish even typing such words? Because i get it life is complicated but WHY- WHY does it have to be so complicated? Why can't it just be so simple? DON'T FUCKING TREAT OTHERS LIKE SHIT. DON'T BE A CREEPY FUCK WHO ABUSES KIDS- I DUNNO IT FEELS PRETTY FUCKING SIMPLE TO ME.

I feel like I'm going insane. Just the other day, one of my friends who grew up in a different household finally realized that what is going on is messed up.

WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG TO REALIZE THAT?!

From the very beginning, I cried after the elections, and my friend thought I was being extra; he said it would be like normal, and nothing would change. Then he would ask why I'm worried if it's not affecting me directly, and I was like- BOY I AM A WOMAN?! AND EVEN IF IT DOESN'T AFFECT ME DIRECTLY, IT IS STILL WRONG?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN? AND NOW- NOW HE SEES IT'S BAD?! I SAW THIS COMING FROM A MILE AWAY BECAUSE I HAVE BASIC MORALS AND COMMON FUCKING SENSE-

I don't get it. This world just feels like it's full of selfish people. People who don't care what is happening to others. People who don't care until something is affecting them. It just makes me so sad.

I just. I just don't even know. I try to focus on other things to get through the day, but what is going on is just awful. I don't know who is being affected by the monsters of the world, but I hope you all are okay and dealing with life as best as you can.

Truly, I don't even know why I put political rant when it should be called moral rant. This doesn't even feel like red vs blue anymore this just feels like evil vs good now.

I always thought good would prevail, and I still believe that it will.

I hope all these monsters burn in hell for eternity.

I know this restaurant is about smut and food, but I just had to get this off my chest.

Thank you.
