Momo and Inunaki were rather silent, moving around and giving soft commands…

“…You are going to do fine Raven…” Momo spoke encouragingly as she fluffed out your black dress.
“I haven't heard you mess it up once.” Inumaki added as he swooped your veil over your head.
You smiled softly fidgeting with your black, lacy, gloves. “Thank you, guys…” You smelled their relaxing scent wrapping itself around you like a hug.
You appreciated their comfort.
However, you weren't worried about messing up…you can sing the song perfectly…but it meant nothing if Asaki decides not to dance.
Besides the pain of rejection, it would be extremely embarrassing to be singing to an empty stage. You might dig yourself a grave and go on and bury yourself too if this goes bad.
Please dance for me…Asaki please please…
“Don’t crease your face so much, I haven’t cast the spell to set your makeup.” Momo grabbed a brush to fix your face.
Maybe you should ask G.Ma for another helping of Lavadagra. Your nerves were already getting you jittery again.
“Wait… there’s a spell to set my makeup? To make it not mess up even if I cried?”
“Yep~.”
“The alphas typically don’t want us to use it since a few of them like to…mess it up.” Inumaki commented.
“Those dirty men.” You rolled your eyes knowing that Toji was probably the only one who liked you looking as pretty as a picture. The other four including the secret sadist side of Nanami might enjoy smearing your makeup.
“But today…I think they’d be okay with it…”
“Yeah…” It was quite a gloomy night. You don’t think any of your alphas were in the get busy mood…you sure weren’t.
“Alright…” the blonde stood in front of you as Inumaki rolled over a long mirror. “We are…all… done.” She finished wiping away non-existent dust.
You raised your head and released a gasp. You looked gorgeous…and if this wasn't a funeral, you would have thought you were about to walk out to your very own gothic wedding.
“Wow…I keep forgetting you guys are masters of your craft.” You complimented as the two stood by you, gazing at your reflection.
“We would have been fired if we weren’t.” Inumaki commented. “Or killed.”
“No~ they wouldn’t do that.” You chide the beta.
Momo let out a little giggle resting her head on your shoulder, “I always enjoy dolling you up…I can’t wait to finally go home…”
That warmed your heart, “I…to be honest I was afraid you guys would have wanted to stay here- not that it’s bad but…I would have been sad to leave you for a second time.”
“I like to visit but…G.Ma gets on my nerves.” Momo’s voice turned whiny as she said, “WhEN aRe YoU gOInG tO GiVe Me PuPs.”
“I told her I was infertile.”
“Ah, I should have used that one!”
You released a snort, “I feel the same way with that woman. I told her we could love each other from a distance. She can be quite abrasive.”
“Well, not just that! She thinks that because we are witches we can’t do anything bad. I know she loves us but…” Momo shook her head. “…All witches aren't bad but… all witches aren't good either… She creates space for a toxic environment and she is so stubborn! If you try to talk to her about something she does- she assumes you don't love her anymore and want her dead! Once, I told her she stabbed my foot with her cane and she said -and I quote- ‘You are going to miss me when I’m gone.’ Like what does that have to do with the pochachos in the souther isles!?”
You let out a laugh but then bells rang.
It was like the sound of haunting church bells.
Sounding off in slow chimes.
The blonde beta sighed deeply, “Sorry… I didn’t mean to complain so much…it’s Asaki’s last dance…I shouldn’t have…”
“It’s alright…You can tell me all about it on our way home.”
The bells continued to ring as you exited the room.
G.Ma was leading the group ringing a white glowing bell.
Yuta, Nobara, Mai, and a few others had bells as well.
Everyone was wearing black, a mixture of kimonos and dresses.
Your betas pulled your long laced veil over your face and you bowed your heads in respect.
As the large group passed, you saw Nanako and Mimiko dressed in their little black dresses and dress shoes. Getou was walking with Mimiko while Toji was holding Nanako, her face in his neck, fist balled in his black kimono.
“Hi, baby.” You whispered to Mimiko as she greeted you with a hug. She didn’t say anything, but you could hear her little sniffle as well as her sisters.
“You look beautiful…” Getou murmured.
“Thank you...” You spoke softly, bending to pick up Mimiko.
“Do you want me to hold her?” Nanami questioned.
“I got her.” You pat the pup’s back, feeling her wet tears. It made your own eyes water. Joining the others you flashed a sad smile at Gojo, Choso, and Toji, but you did not see Sukuna. You blinked in fear, “Where’s Sukuna?”
“He said he’d be here, he’s running just a little late.” Toji told you.
“Don’t worry. He won’t miss this.” Gojo states.
“He wouldn’t.” Getou confirmed.
You slowly nodded your head but as you moved you kept looking for your alpha.
“I’ll go check on him.” Momo offered.
‘Thanks’, you mouth to the girl as she disconnected from the group.
You moved in silence, no one speaking as the bells filled the halls. More witches joined and you all merged and made your way to the elevators.
A few tears did roll down your cheeks.
Your pups were hurting and it was making you hurt.
Inumaki led you to an elevator that your pack and some others boarded.
It lifted you to the top of the tower and opened up to the beautiful graveyard. The moon seemed to have an odd glow to it, as if it were pulsing. You could feel energy.
It didn't feel like curse energy, it felt stronger than that.
The only way you could describe it in a way that made sense was… Alune was calling Asaki home.
Giving her a staircase to the afterlife.
You all moved to the woman’s resting place, her flowers and roots blending more and more with her than the last time you visited. She still looked as beautiful as ever, becoming one with the garden. Mimiko’s toy had roots wrapped around it, as if it were her hands holding it in place.
You gathered around her in a circle, leaving space for her stage, right where the moon's beam seemed to be the most striking.
Nanako gently picked up her head to look, her face red, her eyes puffy. Getou whispered something to her, patting her back gently as she nodded with a sniffle. Nanami wiped her eyes with a handkerchief.
G.Ma gestured for you to stand before Asaki.
You took a deep breath, rubbing Mimiko’s back before you passed her to Getou. She was reluctant at first but you told her- “I’ll hold you for however long you want me to after this okay?”
She finally let go but she refused to look, hiding her face.
You fixed your dress and veil, moving to your position at the head of the circle.
You pulled out the book of songs, looking at all the downcast faces that surrounded you.
Your alphas… who usually don’t show much emotion for anyone else besides you- looked sullen. Eyes soft and face expressionly sad.
Gojo was sniffing a bit, looking up as he tried to blink the tears away.
You took a deep breath…but there was still…no Sukuna…
“You may begin…” G.Ma whispered to you.
You swallowed nervously, “Sukuna isn’t here…nor Momo…they are coming.”
“…”
You all waited…
Time felt like it was ticking…slowly.
Where was he?
He said he’d be here.
Why wasn’t he here?
He wouldn’t do this!
Not to you- not to the pups-
“Raven…” G.Ma spoke again. “…We cannot wait all night for him…”
“He said he’d be here. He’s coming.” You looked toward the elevators waiting for him to make his appearance.
Everyone stood quietly, still respectful but even they began to look around wondering if your alpha would actually come.
“Can we do it without him?” Someone whispered.
“No- no kuna has to be here t-too.” Mimiko denied looking at Toji, “- Why isn’t he here for Mama's dance? He said he’d-he’d be here-“
“Shh shh.” Getou rocked Mimiko in his arms as he looked toward the elevators as well. “Look- there he is-“
The elevator opened up but a lone witch came scurrying into the garden. “Sorry for my tardiness G.ma.” He whispered joining the group.
You blinked in building anger.
Where- was-he?
No-
Your anger morphed into fear.
Something had to be wrong-
He wouldn’t miss this!
“I’ll go-“ Gojo began but then a flash occurred and the ticking of a clock sounded.
You whipped your head around as the clock tower glowed turning on and then flashing off after it was done.
Your mouth dropped- “Did he… did he leave?” You asked incredulously.
“No…” G.Ma gasped in shock.
You looked toward her, and she appeared as if she had seen a ghost.
“What?”
She quickly sputtered trying to fix her features, “He-he can’t use the tower. I assign those who can use it…Please let us continue without him.”
You frowned, “Then who used it? Shouldn't everyone be here?”
“Did Momo leave?” Nobara questioned. She looked just as confused.
As a matter of fact, everyone looked confused.
“Maybe it was both of them that left?” Someone whispered.
Gojo’s brows furrowed, “No, he wouldn’t leave. He’s an asshole but he’s not that much of an asshole.”
You shook your head, “I’m going to go get him.” You moved past everyone picking up your dress as you ran.
“Let me come with-“
“Stay here! I’ll be right back!” You shouted as you nearly flew into the elevator. Once the door closed behind you- you rest your head against the glass.
Breathing heavily.
Eyes wide and unblinking.
Did he leave?!
Did he force Momo to teleport him out of here?!
He wouldn’t-
He wouldn’t!
He wouldn’t! He wouldn’t he wouldn’t he wouldn’t!
As soon as the doors opened you rushed out.
Your dress was heavy but it didn’t stop you from sprinting to Sukuna’s room. When you got there you had nearly slammed your body against his door. “Sukuna! Sukuna!” You knocked with a frantic fist. “Sukuna- the funeral- the funeral did you forget? Are you- are you sleeping?!-“
You were panicking.
Feeling like you couldn’t accept that he left.
But why was something telling you…that he did…
You heard a noise inside.
A shift-
He’s-
He’s still here!
“Sukuna!” You cried tears bursting from your eyes, “If you are mad at me then be mad at me! But the girls- the girls they didn’t do anything-please- please don’t do this- come out you can do whatever you want with me I don’t care please-“
The noise continued, and then you heard a whine.
Was he hurt?
“Sukuna?” You reached for the knob trying to open it but it was locked. “-Sukuna I’m coming in!” You step back and shoot a shadowbolt at the door. The wood cracked and creaked forward before slamming down on the ground.
You blink in surprise. The room was completely destroyed.
Broken wood, glass, and chunks of the bathroom littered the floor.
“…Sukuna?” You stepped in consciously, glass crunching under your foot. It was dark in the room but you could see blond hair lying on the ground. “Momo?” You ran to your beta, her eyes barely open as she lay limp on the ground.
Her soft whines were barely heard. “Tr-mm-tr-l.”
“…Momo? What happened? Who did this to you?” You questioned as you healed her. She slowly started getting more movement in her body.
“Tried-“ she gasped. “-I tried to stop her- sorry…”
“Stop who?”
“Yorozu.”
“Yorozu? What did…” Your eyes scanned the room your breathing getting heavier as reality began to set in. “…What… what did she do…did she…” You stood up shaking your head.
“I’m sorry Raven…”
“-Did she take my alpha…” You say with a hand to your chest.
“He-I think she had him controlled…when I got here he was acting weird and-“
Momo was talking but you couldn’t hear anything.
“She took my alpha…” You stumbled back, looking toward the door. “…She took my alpha…” You continued to move.
Lost in this void.
You couldn’t accept this.
Stepping out to the hallway you had to hold onto the wall, as it felt like it was spinning. Your world felt like it was spinning and you could barely move.
“She took…she took my alpha!” You released a cry as you tripped on nothing falling to the floor you began to scream.
“Raven- Raven-We can still go get her if we-“
“Baby what’s wrong?” Gojo was upon you as you continued to rock back and forth and scream.
“She took my alpha! She fucking took my alpha!”
“What? Who? Sukuna?”
You heard others coming your way, someone falling next to you
“What happened?!” Toji shouted.
“Why is she screaming?” Choso added in anger.
All you could do was scream.
Scream as this pain hurts you more than anything you have ever felt.
You couldn’t stop screaming. “She took him she took him she took him!”
“Who who?!”
Momo tried to explain over your screaming, “Yorozu t-took Sukuna.”
“Are you fucking serious?” Toji growled in anger.
“Why would he go with her?!”
“She had him controlled!”
“I thought that shit didn’t work on him?”
“I don't know maybe she made it stronger I don’t know!“
“Find him- find my alpha- my alpha is gone!”
“I will find him baby-“ He stood to sniff around, “Dammit I can’t even smell his scent she must have covered it up.”
“We can track them. Somehow- Ask the town which direction they had gone.”
“Right let’s go!”
“We have to hurry, Momo get her to her nest now!”
“We will find him baby it’s okay we will!”
Your alphas kissed you as Choso gave you a sad look and then they took off, shouting as they went.
“We need to get someone to open the tower!”
“Let’s go get the others!”
You heard them leave but you didn’t at the same time.
Momo gently lifted you off the floor as you stumbled to your room.
“It’s going to be okay Raven…they will find him and bring him back.” She whispered to you.
And what if they didn’t…
What if he was gone…

Your mind felt like it was falling apart and then you moved.
“Where are you going?” Momo shouted. “Raven!”
But her voice was too far behind you as you phased through the walls.
All the way until-
“Ah!” Yuji gasped in shock as you came into view.
Megumi was just as surprised, “You good?”
“No! No! I’m not good-That -that that-bitch took my alpha and I need you to find him for me -Yuji she took him and you are gonna find him okay can you do that for me please?” You spoke as you began to dispel the talismans one after another.
Megumi scoffed, “Oh so now that you need Yuji for something you are going to release him?”
“Megumi I don’t have time for your fucking daddy issues okay?! See a god damn therapist and get the fuck over it! Your mom raped your dad just like that fucking bitch is trying to do to my fucking alpha!” You shouted tearing off another talisman.
“Oh-“ Yuji’s eyes widened, “I-I’m so sorry…I’ll help you find Sukuna but am I safe?” He questioned with furrowed brows.
“...” You said nothing, you truly didn’t care if he was or not.
One thing was on your mind.
Getting your alpha back.
You heard a slam and then a shrill, “Ah! What are you doing?!”
G.Ma came running, trying to block you from releasing Yuji.
“G.Ma! I don’t have time for this! Your granddaughter took my alpha!”
“You know this boy is dangerous! Releasing this monster to the world is dangerous! You would doom us all!”
“I DON'T CARE!”
The woman fought with you and then she grabbed your face trying to get you to look at her.
“LISTEN! I know you are hurt right now! I know you are in pain but you have to calm down!”
You were breathing heavily, “G-G.MA she has my alpha- he’s MINE! And she took him! I can’t I can’t-“ you shook your head tears streaming from your eyes.
“I know I know…shh…Let us finish Asaki’s funeral and then I can help you find Yorozu…we will get your alpha back-this I swear…” she wiped at your tears as you sniffled, “…Think of the pups…they need you right now…”
You began to shake your head, “…No…no…I can’t…”
“It will be alright… There’s no need for such a big fuss.“
“No- NO! You’re wrong!” You hissed and pushed her back.
“You- you are not thinking straight! Your alphas barely have any curse energy and it would be foolish for you to chase after her by yourself. If she had him under a spell he could attack you!”
“I don’t care!”
“We need to put Asaki to rest! This is the one night we can do it! Don’t do this to those girls they have been through enough!”
You let a whine slip from your lips, hearing about the pups made you sob harder. That’s right…the girls needed you… They were probably so confused about what was going on. And Yuji was some spawn of a monster… You shouldn’t release him… All of this you knew… You knew that the better decision was to calm down and regroup…
But your alpha- your alpha- Sukuna…your Solunar- he was gone- taken from you. It was like your heart was stolen from you. You cannot live without it- you cannot live without him- but the pups. Their mother…
You felt like you were going insane.
Like you were choosing between the pups and Sukuna.
Megumi and Yuji were otherwise quiet. Watching as things unfold. They were a bit scared of your state.
They had never seen you like this.
“Shh…I’ll fix you some Lavardgra… and once this is all over we will laugh about it…My sister, Yorozu’s mother- stole my omega once too.” G.ma let out a little laugh, patting your hand.
You felt your body grow cold. You realized something. Something in the way she was talking…something…something started making you feel itchy.

“…Did you…Did you know she was going to do this…” You ask looking toward the elder woman with a sort of blankness.

“Did you know?!”
The older woman sighed, “I tried to talk her out of it… I swear to Alune… That girl is too in love, but I will deal with her.”
“Deal-deal with her…ha…” You let out a laugh like snort, and then that turned into a manic laugh, “…Deal with her? Ha…hehehe…you.” You stood as you continued to laugh. “Hehehe…I can’t believe- oh my Tengen - ahah…you knew… you set all of this up…” you began to pace rubbing at your face- “The spell on the town to get my alphas depleted of their energy- the intruder in my room- I bet it was that bitch too- and Asaki’s funeral just so happened to be right when that slug decided to take what was MINE! You- you did this- you KNEW! YOU HELPED HER SET THIS WHOLE FUCKING THING UP!”
“That-that was before I saw you as family… I made a mistake I told her not to do it to apologize for what she did to your alphas and be kind to you so we could grow as-as family!”
“Family?! You-I fucking hate you- I despise you and your whole fucked up family! And you won’t have the chance to deal with that bitch because when I see Yorozu SHES going to WISH I fucking kill her! I’m going to tear her apart and eat her fucking eyes out I’m going to -ACK-“ you choked- “I’m going to—ack-“ You choked again and then began to gag holding your stomach as you felt something coming up. That’s when you threw up- but instead of liquid vomit it was pure black smoke.
You heard gasps of horror, as the clouds pooled around you and spread, coming out of your mouth profusely.
You released a sigh as the last of it finished coiling from your lips.
And in the next moment, eyes appeared in the darkness…and one by one shadow creatures began to disconnect and form, releasing howling cries.
The light from outside turned red…as did the moon.
“You- you-“ G.Ma backed up in shock as the very same creatures that destroyed her home came hissing and crawling toward her. “-These creatures were your doing!” She shouted at you but you moved to Yuji’s cage.
You hadn’t the mind to think about this.
All you could think about was…
‘I have to get my alpha.’
It was spoken in your mind so simply.
Like that of breathing.
You had to get Sukuna.
There was nothing else you could think of.
Nothing else you could do.
Even as G.Ma fought your monsters.
“You Demon! You are a wicked demon!”
“Come on Yuji.” You stated plainly as the boy stood and you took off the ropes binding him.
Yuta came rushing to the room, “Are-Are these the shadow creatures?! Where do they come from
“They are hers!” G.Ma yelled.
“Yuta.” You ignored the woman, “I need you to open the clock tower.”
“Don’t do it Yuta! This woman cannot be let out into the world! Her magic is pure evil, you must kill her-ah!” Your shadow creatures pounced on the woman she screamed and fought. Her curse energy was draining from her as the monsters got bigger.
They were like thrashing eels circling her body slashing and biting her.
“G.ma!” Yuta shouted stepping forward but you blocked him.
“Yuta… I’m not asking.”
The alpha looked at you in shock. “What happened…to you…”
“Yorozu stole my alpha…I need to get him back. Now.”
Yuta seemed to understand your pain, his expressions shifted as did his fighting stance, “Let her go, I’ll open the tower.”
You waved your hands at the creatures and they all dispersed away from the elderly woman. She lay on the ground bleeding, cut up from her face to her feet.
“D-Demon…” She wheezed.
Other witches had come into the room, screaming at the sight before them.
“Come Yuji, we have to hurry.” You moved past them as your monsters slithered along with you.
The hallway was filled with witches now, they all stepped back in horror, avoiding your dark creatures.
That’s when you saw the pups at the end.
“She hurt G.Ma!”
“She’s a monster!”
“Monster!”
“Those are the same creatures that attacked us before!”
“This was all her doing!”
“I knew we shouldn’t have trusted her!”
“Raven?” The girls’ eyes were wide with fear as everyone was in an uproar.
Maki and Mai snatched them away from you.
You could sic your monsters on them, allow them to tear these witches limb from limb.
But the pups were the only reason you didn’t.
They had been through enough.
You didn’t want to massacre their family in front of their faces.
You couldn’t even…be there for them.
You couldn’t…sing their mother’s song.
Yorozu did this on purpose. Hoping you would choose the pups over Sukuna.
“I’m sorry.” You couldn’t even spare them a glance as you walked out.
All you could hear were the shouts and cries of the other witches.
Scorning and cursing your name.

I don’t know why I type more when we are going through an angst patch. It’s like I myself am trying to hurry up past this so we can get back to the good life 😭🖤. Just remember through the angst and pain there will be comfort but it’s about to be ONIONY IN THIS RESTAURANT in the next chapters
